Vertical Tabs are wasting space Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi, great Addon! I like vertical tabs, but the view is wasting space on the right and left with this round tabs since Fx29. Please make the vertical tabbar wasting not so much space. Thx

This is hands down the best tab utility extension for Fx out there. Do not waste your time on the others. HOWEVER, I personally have combined this with the Classic Theme restorer extension since Fx went to the new UI after ver 29. The combination is a very excellent match for various specific options. As for Tab Utilities - I love how it handles multiple tab rows. When in combo with Classic Theme Restorer it handles multiple tab rows even more primo! I am not trying to push CTR but I can't help mention how good they are together. They do for me! Thank you so much for Tab Utilities! It's one of my all time fave extensions for configuring my Fx UI just the way I like it.

Similar to TabMixPlus, but slightly different, with better options and more light weight, I prefer this addon now.

Smaller than TMP and do all I needed.

Was hoping... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Really was hoping this would work w/o a glitch as it contains the 1 function that the others don't..multiple options to move an open tab.

So, I like re-arranging tabs as I have many open at one time.

The right click - move tab to existing window is key!

The lite version doesn't have this 1 key item :-(

Unfortunately, this full version doesn't play with ff 29 very well as if you were to keep opening new tabs, after you get to around 10, it messes up my toolbar divisions and looks really sloppy..

So, either I deal with manually dragging open tabs to existing windows or except the glitch when opening past 10 or so tabs..

hmm..........

That's a lot of features, but none dealing with tab archiving - when people browse the net, they often leave tabs open for thing that can be useful in the feature. After some time, the amount of such tabs can become quite big. At this point manually archiving each one to avoid bloated tab count becomes cumbersome - add 10+ tabs to bookmarks, preferably separated from the main bookmarks, by hand? Do it once every few days? A lot of work. So a feature that would be useful would be to archive open tabs that haven't been accessed for a bit of time, say 3 days or so, by saving them to a folder in the bookmarks and closing them.

Hmm? How did Primitive write a review when he got the error message?

As for me, I use this all the time. It's one of the best tab controls out there and I've tested almost every one.

I especially appreciate the detailed instructions on this page. Too bad, most other add-ons don't do this.

PS. I've run into similar problems as mentioned with FF 29. That's the problem with FF, not this or other add-ons. My final fix was to go back to FF 27. If you do, make sure you download the actual set up file, not the install stem. Once downloaded, disable your NIC, then install and turn off the auto update in options before you enable the NIC. Here's the link to older versions of FF. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/

Thanks!!!

Unlike tabkit you can't just hold your mouse on the tab border to shorten or lengthen it instantly when in vertical tab mode, how unlike TK it doesn't always popup it's advertising page either.

Update: incredibly this addon prevents WRITING A REVIEW FOR IT! I get an error message saying "Oops! You tried to do something you weren't allowed to do"!

I need 1-3pixel empty panel over tabbar to click there without focus any tab, just for focus firefox windows
P.S. I turn off all panels and bars exept tabbar, so tabbar is on top of the screen

Can't move window Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The plugin works alright, but not being able to move the Firefox window anymore is disappointing. By browser is not always full-screen, so this is quite an issue for me. Also, right-clicking does not pop up the default window menu (same as alt+space).

Another problem is that Ctrl/Shift + arrow buttons should remain at their default behaviour when a text input is selected, no matter what the options might be. Because when typing, one expects skipping/selecting whole words using Ctrl/Shift+arrows to work.

Moving of Firefox 29.0 window not working anymore Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I can't move Firefox 29.0 window anymore (using a mouse) when add-on is enabled.

When to expect fix to emtpy tab opening on download. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Bug with opening empty tab on file download event.
On active tick - external link in new tab is still alive
Developer - when to expect to fix it?
Please integrate internal functionality to kill empty tabs on download, like as TMP into Tab Utilities,
or fix conflict with the target killer extension.

Tab font is unreadable (by default) on multiline tabs due to transparency on ff29.

Everything else is perfect.

Great addon with lots of features - I like the ability to lock tabs. I do wish there was an ability to hide the address bar for locked tabs, though. Also, I'd really like to be able to remove the "undo close tab" button, which I keep mistaking for the back button!

Great Add-on, with one really annoying BUG Rated 4 out of 5 stars

After trying a few tab apps, this was the easiest and most intuitive. Great features, but it over rides the FireFox command to go to a newly opened tab. If you are used to automatically going to your new tab as soon as it is opened, this program does not allow it right now. A bug I hope they can fix.

Tab stacking not remembering Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have tab groups and it use to get along great with this extension but that's no longer the case. The tab stacking feature is partially broken in that it it still stacks you tabs and allows you too but when i go from group 1 to group 2 them back to group 1 group 1's tabs that were all previously stacked are now unstacked. It's annoying but other than this this is a great extension.
