Not For FF20!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I've used this plug-in for a long time and was very happy with it.

Within the last year updated FF from ver. 14, to 17, to 19 and yesterday to 20.

Since updating FF to 20 having "Tab To Window" causes a custom toolbar that I have to constantly disappear after closing and opening FF again. I had to do a Reset of FF and reinstall all of my plugins one after the other to find this. TTW is definitely the culprit.

Besides, in FF20--maybe a couple of version previous--moving a tab to it's own window is in the tab's context menu, and to move a tab from one window to another you just drag-n-drop. If the tab was the last in the window, the window closes.

Thank you very much Sogame for years of good service, but TTW is redundant in at least FF20.

Like, but in recent Firefox updates, Join Window is missing Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I have used this add-on for years, but since the update from Firefox 3 to the higher numbers (including my current version of 9), but the Join to window option is gone. This is one of the features in Tab to Window that I used the most, and I miss it greatly. Would rate a 5 if Join to Window still worked.

Tab Mix Plus does this, that's the problem :) Rated 3 out of 5 stars

If you use tabmix plus, please 'untick' single window mode in 'links' menu...
you can now customize mouse actions, etc..

not working in 4.0 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Not working on 4.0. Possibly a conflict with other add-ons (guessing that it might be a conflict with ie Tab or an option in Tab Mix Plus)? It does install the File/.. options, but no right-click option on the tab I want to move to a new window.

Not working for me Rated 5 out of 5 stars

does not work for me; when i do the shortcut it just opens a new window, it does not open the current tab in the new window. I do however have the option under file

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I really like this add-on, but there's one thing which it doesn't do, which is to move a window with no tabs to a tab in another window. I don't have the tab bar present unless I actually have more than one tab. But if I have a window with no other tabs then to move it to another window, I have to open a second blank tab, go back to the first tab, move it, then go back and shut the blank window, which is a real hassle. Is there anyway to move a window when the tab bar isn't there? Maybe a menu option somewhere? I don't want to have the tab bar there all the time because I have a small screen and it takes up space.

Great, better for Seamonkey Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I would be really nice if you had the add-on available for Seamonkey 2.0+

It DOES have functionality.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

there are people that want a SIMPLE way to move a tab to an *existing* window!

unlike those overactive sorts who have no problem with...
- restore window to show desktop
- go to tabs, and drag to desktop , find window that is created, and restore to max
OR: find widow you want to move it to, make it visible at the same time as the source, and then drag...

OR........ right click, join to window, select wanted window...

compatibility issue Rated 3 out of 5 stars

there must be some compatibility issue with other addons (i have some addons about tabs installed) - it works only once - when it is just installed.
when you open firefox the next time - there is nothing in the context menu about this addon.

NO Longer needed you just need to Drag the the tab out of the current Window fo it to open a New one in Version 3.5.8

No added functionality Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I'm not sure why others have not been able to do what I am able to do. Even with all other addons disabled, I have been able to drag and drop tabs from one window to another for quite some time. I do not know what version I was running when I made my previous review, but I was able to do it then, and I am still able to do it.

I can even drag a tab from a single open window to a blank area of my desktop and it creates a new window automatically. All with no addons, on Mac, AND Windows.

I stand by my first review. This addon adds NO functionality to any Firefox installation I run, and I run five different installations, ALL of which support dragging and dropping tabs from one window to another, and to a not yet existing window.

I have no idea why anyone else can't seem to do this.

How can I disable tab to window? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Sometimes I click on an open tab and it becomes a window. I don't know what I do differently when I click on it but I really don't like that it does that. I like to have only one window open with many tabs and don't like when new windows open like that. Can I do something about this new feature?

Works flawlessly (at least with FF3.0.14)!
This should be a built-in functionality indeed.
@Sogame: thx!

Love it! This should be a built-in functionality!!!!!

Awesome. Been waiting for this for a while. Yes it should be default in FF. Thanks for adding it!

Not bad Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice but could be nicer:

- When a tab is detached from one window it's history is lost. I'd like it to keep the history of the tab, being able to go back (copying the whole tab object, not just opening a new window with the current URL). Konqueror "Detach tab" option preserver the tab history, for example.

- I don't think it's a good idea to add menu entries in the file menu under the quit command (I think "Quit" as the last option is a standard)
