Love it but... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Ever since a recent FireFox Developer Edition update, this addon and many others now say "Legacy" next to their names. I'm not sure if that's related to the issue I'm having, but now I can't use Tile Tabs when loading a Saved Session from "Session Manager". Everything gets screwy and Tile Tabs doesn't work correctly. Switching tiles as well sometimes lags and can't change unless "X"d out. Please fix this if you can. I'm reinstalling the Addon now in hopes it'll repair the issue. I tried doing that on TIle Tabs but no difference. I'm not sure if this addon is to blame for incompatibility or Tile Tabs, but please look into it. Otherwise, I love Session Manager! I'd hate to switch solely for this reason. Great add-on nevertheless!

Good Addon, One Caveat Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This is a good addon that I've used for some time now. The one thing I miss is that there is no longer a list of closed windows listed by the toolbar button that stays active between sessions. If you close all of your Firefox windows and then reopen Firefox the closed windows list empty. I am l looking for another addon that has this functionality but no luck so far. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Brilliant idea poorly executed Rated 2 out of 5 stars
After less than a day, Firefox will slow to a crawl, repeatedly flashing "not responding" every second or so. Eventually, after minutes or hours, this addon will crash with a notification that it cannot write to its database. The only fix for this is to kill the Firefox process and start over. Then you're good for another few hours of activity before you do the same dance again. I'm going to try TabMix.
One of the most useful plugins for Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It is not just a plug-in. It is a personal assistant. It only lacks online session storage for synchronizing multiple devices, but this can be solved by using Dropbox or a similar service.
Session Manager doesn't load sessions in latest nightly Rated 4 out of 5 stars
In latest Firefox Nightly (version 55), session manager loads empty window when loading a saved session. even though it displays list of sessions.
Very good complement! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It has helped me many times, great complement to Firefox, continue with the development. Thank you!
Just works Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Best of its kind, use it every day Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Best thing is, I can save entire windows with tons of tabs of researched information. Also, I can retrieve those for later use. Also, it autosaves most crashed sessions, and saves sessions regularly at time intervals I choose. Really useful
But, at one point, Firefox last summer completely erased all my old session manager stuff with a horrid update that removed, not disabled, but removed without my permission all of my . Now, in version 5.2, Session Manager is inaccessable, add-ons, & all the saved windows/tabs in Session Mgr. I had to re-install a new Session Mgr., and start from scratch, with all the old data lost. Now, the latest problem is Session Mgr isn't working in Firefox 5.2, it freezes the browser when I click on it & then nothing works, have to re-boot the browser. I disabled Session Mgr. now, today, and am waiting for this bug to be fixed. Hope this bug is fixed soon. Otherwise, it's the most useful add-on I use & have ever used. Great for college students, high school students, and any kind of professional or amateur researchers who need to do research in their profession, or for their hobbies & activities. I'd give it 5 stars, but this new version of Firefox has disabled plug-ins, Java, Adobe, and all my images don't load. Thanks Firefox, for your wonderful coding these days!
Issues restoring the session Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The extension works nicely, however in the latest versions of Firefox it has issues restoring the session. On startup:
1) Browser opens, a dialog with sessions is shown
2) I double click the previous session. Either of the following happens:
- Browser still opens with a default session (pinned tabs only)
- The restored session appears for half a second and then replaced with the default one (like above)
After that I have to manually click on the diskete icon, select the previous session and reopen it. It ruins user experience when reopening the browser
Also, there're localization problems - my system's language is English (ArchLinux+KDE) with russian locale for metrics system and numbers format. Everything appears in English except this plugin. I consider it a bug in the pugin

So Useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is essential to "my firefox experience." But honestly, without this I would not be using firefox probably. The feature to save previous sessions (thus the name) is extremely useful for people who may have multiple shopping lists or projects going on. It helps organize your life. Each of my sessions typically has over 20 tabs. It's a safety/backup. If you like to have over 10 tabs open at once, I highly recommend this.
For a GREAT add-on too bad it is so poorly documented Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I use and like Session Manager but is it about the worst documented app I have seen on Firefox.
On the OPTIONS tab, he gives your a choice to "Saved Sessions Location" custom or default. He does NOT tell you where the DEFAULT location is. Would it be SO HARD to have where the DEFAULT is IF you hit that button? WHY? When you have to reload OS/Firefox it would be nice to go to that location and move the files to your new RELOADED OS. Searching does no good as if the DEFAULT loc is a SECRET and you lose all your old Sessions if you have to reload OS
Works Very Well Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This app is fantastic. Just don't do what I did and format your disk without backing up the Session Manager saved session files. I had thought the session details were saved externally via my Firefox account - this is not the case. Ended up losing over 200 tabs... lesson learned!

При использовании расширения в Linux версии Firefox происходит сбой отдельных моментов русской локализации в браузере. В остальном расширение работает хорошо.
When using extensions in Linux version of Firefox fails certain aspects of Russian localization in the browser. Otherwise the extension works well.
One of the best addons ever Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A "must have" add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Been using this wonderful add-on for about two years; without doubt, it is on my exclusive "must have" list. Nice surprise is that it also saves ALL open tabs, not just the current page. Very useful in daily Bible reading while researching and examining several commentaries and concordances. Thank you. God Bless! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.1.12).
