just what I expected Rated 1 out of 5 stars
You talk about the main menu bar/box/whatever, then you say if you dont have one, then click on the orange squirrel/hedgehog/whatever - you dont say what to do if you dont have one of those, either. There is a 3-barred icon on the top right, it has a print button, but I dont see any way to edit the selection I want. Is this what you're talking about? This is complete and utter BS, I want to print a small section of a web page and I have spent 25 minutes trying to find out how to do it. This is very simple in other browsers, why is it so difficult here? I'm trying to like this browser, but you're making it very complicatedThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (16.8).
Documentation needs updating ...
Apologies - that section of the documentation refers to earlier versions of Firefox and needs updating:
On the Firefox main menu bar, select 'File' and then select 'Print Edit'. If the main menu bar is not visible, right-click on an empty part of the tab bar and select Menu Bar to show the main menu bar.
Alternatively, right click on the web page contents and on the context menu select 'Print...' and then select 'Print Edit'.
Alternatively, just click on the 'Print Edit' toolbar button. If the 'Print Edit' button is not on the toolbar, right-click on an empty part of the tab bar and select 'Customise...' and then drag the 'Print Edit' button onto the toolbar.
Very good add-on, but images are cropped when saving to HTML Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Images are cropped when you save a page using Web Style (*).
Also, keeping web links when creating a PDF file is a good idea.
Please, correct these things and your add-on will be perfect!!!
(*) Note: In fact, images are cropped when saving to HTML. The problem doesn't depend on Web Style is active.
If you print a lot ... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
... you probably need this. Just the sort of thing for people who want to remove annoying banners or other elements from a page before printing. Only annoyance was that sometimes the selection rectangle didn't work quite as expected. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (16.8).
Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Fantastic Add on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This has been my go to addon for creating PDFs in firefox for several years, it works great.
Just a note for the developer, I am setting up a new computer and putting my addons in Firefox. I couldn't find this addon in Firefox addon search when I searched for "PDF" I had to check one of my other computers to get the name of it then searched for it and found it. I know it does a lot of other things but it is a GREAT PDF tool. If you could get it to show up under PDF search you would have even more people using this addon
Broke during Firefox update & developer was helpful to fix Rated 5 out of 5 stars
In the last week or so this stopped working. When icon clicked I get a box entitled "Print Preview Error" with the message "An error occurred when printing". Using Win7 with same error in Firefox 46 & 47 in Print Edit 16.8
UPDATE: Thanks for your help! This is what I did to solve my problem: I uninstalled Print Edit & disabled the other 3 Add-Ons [Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flashblock]. I restarted Firefox a couple times. Reinstalled Print Edit & it worked fine. Re-enabled each of the other three add-ons one at a time & checked Print Edit. It works as advertised now.
Very, very useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Extremely useful thing when you need it; really a great idea and tool, well implemented. I've never had problems with stability.

BROKEN in 46.0.1 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I am no longer able to edit any documents using this extension. The problem arose when Firefox updated to 46.0.1. Suggestions?
UPDATE 1: Version 16.8 just arrived in m Firefox update this morning, so your response (below) was very timely. The update has solved the problem. Thanks for all your effort with this extension. Outstanding work.
UPDATE 2: I spoke too soon. I was overly optimistic because it looked like it was going to work, but it is not working. I am using Win10. 'Print' opens a print dialog box. 'Preview' opens a preview. 'Print Edit' does nothing. Clicking on the Print Edit icon on my toolbar does nothing. I am not willing to do a reset without abandoning Firefox altogether. This has become a continuing source of irritation for me with Firefox. I love it, but it it seems to need 'resetting' and falls apart much too often. If we cannot get this working, this might be the thing that finally pushes me to Chrome permanently. Thanks for your help.
Broken PDF "Page Setup" Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I'm having the same trouble as the previous reviewer. When I check the PDF box, then go to "Page Setup", I can't change any of the settings. My new PDFs have headers on them from an old PDF. If I try to change it or remove it, the "OK" button does not work. Otherwise, great tool. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (16.6).

Good for printing html web pages Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This app works perfectly to convert a web page that instead of printing it, you can save the file as a pdf file. Then, you can easily email it as an attachment in a common format, such as the .pdf. This is very helpful when using web sites that don't automatically convert vouchers, for example, to a saveable format. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (16.6).
Great Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this add-on. it works so well for dealing with problems I find trying to print from firefox.
It also has a PDF checkbox so you can save directly to PDF. I used this instead of my PDF printer. It saves PDFs with a lower file size than my PDF printer, and seems more efficient. Thanks.
P.S. One suggestion would be to give the option to for the PDF checkbox to stay checked by default.
Best Print Application Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Out of all the applications I ran into this one is by far the best and most workable. I can print on a website I was in dire need or printing on and could not find a way at all. No other applications worked either. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (16.5).
Great job! Does excellent work! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I was looking for a PDF saving add-on,
couldn't find any decent one.
But this add-on does it so well and quick and provides much more than just saving to PDF.
I would suggest:
It took me a while to find how to "print" to PDF.
Putting it in Preview Print is fine, but I think it should also be in the Print-Edit, as a file type I can "Save", like HTML.

Good Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very useful addon. Some options such as print job title (pdf 'save as' file name control) could be more extensive.
>>Which other options would you like to have available?
Trying again as the text was removed for some reason.
For example an optional removal of the added string " - Mozilla Firefox" (as seen in the preview window title to help make sure there is room for a longer than ~358 character title (if a title is about that lenght, my printer can't cope with the print job name/title),
an optional removal of any URL (or strip down to base host) in the preview window as above,
an optional replacement for "-" that is used for non-valid file name characters, an option to add date/time/custom field data to the preview title/pdf-file as above.
Here is the window title(=print job name) and resulting pdf file name for this page:
"Print Edit -- Add-ons for Firefox - https---addons.mozilla.org-en-US-firefox-addon-print-edit-.pdf". An option for attempting to 'smart parse' the pdf filename (the window title as well, fixing those really long title string problems) to "Print Edit.pdf" would be useful (combined with, say the date option suggested for example would be really nice). It's minor, but regarding file naming, a check for "-.pdf", where the - before the .extension isn't needed (or in similar scenarios) would be neat.
This App is great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this App. I save a lot of images and documents from the "Intertubes", but I don't like to save extraneous data from pages to my computer because doing so wastes space on my computer. Print Edit allows me to remove (either by deleting or hiding) every single line, letter, and image I don't want, preview what the saved page or image will look like, and flip back and forth between preview and edit until I get it just right. I've used it for months, maybe a year, without a hitch; it's been entirely reliable. I can't say that about many Apps. Two thumbs up for Print Edit! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (16.4).
