Why was Perapera Japanese Popup Dictionary created?
Japanese has been my longest language obsession, and have now lived over 5 years in Japan. Originally I made the Chinese version because I was starting to study Chinese, then I added the Japanese version since I added wordlists and some other useful features and wanted to use them in my Japanese studies as well.
What's next for Perapera Japanese Popup Dictionary
Korean has always been on the backburner, but hasn't progressed much because of a lack of a quality dictionary and lack of expertise in Korean. I have found a suitable dictionary we can use for the plugin, so the only hurdle is some Korean knowledge, but thankfully from support of the community we have some people that are willing to help with this and next will be a Korean version.
After that, we have ideas for Russian and Arabic tools that will be useful in studying those languages. So keep tuned, more goodness to come :)
