The best extension ever for people wearing glasses!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The best extension ever!!!
Thank you very much for developing it. My nephew and my parents have problems with their eyes. Now, they can surf ;-)
It is a very usefull to zoom text to 200% and zoom out the page to 90%. It makes the surf experience better!
Need help setting exceptions Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Basically an ok add-on, but I need help in setting it up properly. I use 1024 x 768 screen resolution. I want all my websites to be at 100% zoom level. The only site I need to be set at 90% is Mail.Yahoo.com (yahoo email site)
For some idiotic reason, if I leave that site at 100% the characters in the Inbox (for unread mails) are a very large Bold Face Font .. totally incorrect, but what else would I expect as Yahoo has messed up the email since the last major "new and improved yahoo email"

This is wonderful for us older people. Thank you so much, does exactly what it says it will, very simple and easy. Love it.
Provides Simpler Access to Text Zoom Rated 4 out of 5 stars
On many websites, I feel that the default text size is made for those with 20/10 vision or better. I sometimes struggle to read the scribblings, particularly when I have my monitor at a appreciable distance away from me. Normally, I just use the default zoom features, which simply increase the size of the webpage. The add-on itself works as advertised, and makes changing text size much easier. Unfortunately, many sites rely on specific text sizes, so the layout can be destroyed by increasing the font size too much. This isn't really a failing on the add-on's part, but does make it less useful. I was excited about the possibilities but I have simply resorted back to using the default full-page zoom.
Doesn't do anything beyond what the regular + & - function does Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I didn't find not having the add-on bar in 30 a hindrance, I just placed the icons on the bookmarks toolbar. However, it seems to do nothing beyond what my FF zoom in and zoom out does, and in fact, has frozen the percentage shown for that function at 120%, no matter what level of zoom I'm actually using. So, it's doing nothing, AND removing the functionality of seeing how much more or less zoom I'm currently using.

Thank-you so much. This makes so much difference to my working day. Very grateful for your add on.
Lost the address bar. Had to reset FF to remove Rated 2 out of 5 stars
After installing this add on, my address bar vanished. I removed every add on that I had but it was still gone. I noticed the little magnifying glass in the bookmarks tool bar remained after No Squint was removed. I had to re-set the browser in order to make the No Squint icons go away and regain my search engine and address bar. The actual add on worked okay. The whole page gets larger, not just the text as was described.

What I am missing terribly here is save option for different custom preferences (not specific site related) and than option for fast selection of those preferences. Another missing thing is option for fast turning on and of for selected preferences.
Useful add-on, but not intuitive and user friendly at all.
The context menu trick does it as a substitute for lost addonbar function Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Thanks so much for mentioning the context menu function. I had totally forgotten about it and it does the trick without having to install another addon. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
For Firefox 29 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The developer of NoSquint has already stated that a complete rewrite of the extension is necessary in order to place the NoSquint icon on the Firefox 29 Tool bar and he has no time to do this (family, job, etc now take precedence as often happens). Unfortunately, NoSquint hasn't been updated since April, 2013 and absolutely requires the Add-on bar for it's icon placement. However, there's two solutions.
NoSquint still "works" actually so you can do one of two things. You can install NoSquint and your keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+, ctrl-, ctrl 0) will still work for NoSquint but in order to access the other NoSquint options per page you'll have to right-click on a blank space of any given web page and you can access the NoSquint options per page from there (same as when you right-clicked the NoSquint icon in the Add-on bar in previous versions of Firefox).
You can install the "Classic Theme Restorer" extension specifically designed for the new Firefox 29 "Australis" UI which will, among other things, add a fully functional "Add-on" bar back and NoSquint's icon will show up if the extension is installed and will work normally.
Needs "The Addon Bar (restored)" add-on for FF29!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
If I'm not wrong the dev's site is dead! :-(
So there's little hope to see a compatible version for FF29…
Luckily, someone created this: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/the-addon-bar/
I've just tried it and NoSquint seems ok after a few trials!
Hope it will last. :-)
Great add on, Very usefull ! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I use it in all previous version of my firefox, but now with firefox 29.0 the icon of nosquint is missed and i cant retrive it
Great add-on! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add on should be added to Firefox by default.
IE has a built in zoom on lower right corner of screen and can be adjusted by mouse clicks.
This add on requires CTRL and mouse scroll wheel which is easy and zoom level also shows on lower right corner of screen.
Eye Strain Solution Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Given the number of web developers who think visitors can read 6 point fonts or pink and yellow text or whatever other moron ideas they come up with, this is an addon that I won't up grade firefox without. If it's not compatible with an upgrade, I don't do it until it is. This one addon has saved my eyes from countless hours of fatigue and strain.
Great Extension! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is a must-have. Get it, add it, use it, love it.
Great feature to have Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great feature to have, it should be implemented in Firefox by default. Thanks !

This is an awesome extension.
Just one request:
Allow automatic change of settings according to time of the day....
For example, I like a black background and white text during the night when and I like a white background and black text during the day.
I would love if those settings could be changed automatically according to my system's time.

I wish it worked with the latest Firefox UX Nightly 30 release. You can easily get back the status bar using the dev version of Status-4-Evar, so I thought the creator of NoSquint would've released a new version that works with Australis by now. This user has 3 previous reviews of this add-on.
wipes out certain Photos and slide shows Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Certain photos and slide shows get blanked out when nosquint is active. I found this to be true on ebay motors, and a few other sites. This is the only issue I have found, but to me it's a big one. Turn nosquint off and the photos re-appear. If not for this issue I would have given it 5 starsThis user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
useful zooming Rated 5 out of 5 stars
for me is an useful addon, I use the zoom very often to check the behaviour of my website at different zooms and with this addon I can see the % very easily, which is good, I don't have to guess it anymore
