Thanks for your suggestion, but I'm not really interested in your other extension. I like your modern one, I was just hoping for that one little tweak to make the bookmarks menu stand out more. I understand you don't want to do it. It's cool. Thanks for your replies! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.3). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Very nice but Mozilla watch out! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I do not (and will not) understand why the developers of Firefox chose the monochrome "apple" like icons. All the time I update I have to start searching again for a colorful theme and one by one the developers of the themes drop their update efforts for the theme gets incompatible again. I wonder if Mozilla checks how many people actually like this default theme... Nearly all Retro themes are now incompatible with Firefox 17. How long will this go on I wonder...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.3).

Exactly what Firefox 16.0.2 needed on win 7 32 bit. Gave me some color back without changing any thing else. Perfect. I would love to have something similar for the new Thunderbird 17 which has gone all black and white and unreadable with its icons. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.3).
You may want to try my TB themes to alleviate the monochrome icons as well:
Just what I needed - works with Win 7 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I liked the default theme except for the toolbar buttons - I had trouble seeing the back and forward arrows clearly (I'm an old guy of 58!)
I tried many different themes and most of them were garish and unreadable. I simply wanted a change to the toolbar icons and this gave it to me while leaving everything else (tab colors, menu colors, etc) alone. It was exactly what I needed.
The description said that it worked under Windows XP but was not tested in Win 7. But I have Win 7 and it works just fine. Thanks much!!
Superb add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This add-on provides just the touch of color that the default theme so desperately needs. Adding color to the previously uniformly black buttons aids immeasurably in quick recognition and is far more pleasing aesthetically. The add-on does precisely what its author set out to do (based on written comments) and is an elegant solution to an irritating problem. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.0).
