Awesome Stuff Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great tool. I ditched Desktop safari.

Develop Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The addon was excellent in Firefox before version 48. Now it breaks address autocomplete and usually ENTER/RETURN key does not work correctly.

Barely works Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This addon barely works!
- address suggestion: Broken
- Search results - always 1
- If you use the hotkey search on opened tab it will not change the tab title so you will have trouble with finding it when you change the active tab.

This addon used to make my work much easier but now I think I would be better off without it...

Aaaaaaaaaand everything broke Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I know it's probably not the add-ons's fault, but everything broke with the latest FF update. Hitting enter doesn't work anymore, instaload randomly hits enter for me in the middle of typing, and I can't turn off instaload to fix it anymore, the setting broke. Hopefully it get's fixed because this add-on is now useless..

Completely broken in FF48 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

With FF48 and InstantFox enabled it is no longer possible to press Enter to load URL in the bar, often the browser just jumps to the site instead of searching, and lots of other small bugs.

I still love the add-on and wouldn't want to give it up, I really need this functionality, so please fix this.

Breaks the awesome bar with Firefox 48 Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Since Firefox 48 (at least on Ubuntu), this add on break the awesome bar. When I start typing in it, I do not get the auto complete for the sites I previously visited.

Good - but no sync with firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I would really love to have the content of this app updated with all the machines where I use firefoxSync. Is this possible? Am I missing something?
Otherwise this feature would be huge

Superb - But Annyoing Bug In Most Recent Version! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have used this add-on for a long time and never had any issues. But in the last update there is a very annoying bug. Someone else below mentioned this same bug, so apparently I am not the only one to see it. And it happens every time I use IF. After using IF -- for example doing a youtube search in the FF navigation bar -- you cannot navigate away from the found page. If you try to navigate to another url, the url in the navigation bar is changed, but you are still viewing the same youtube page found with IF no matter what you do. You have to close the tab and use a different tab to go to a new page. Please fix this! It's an outstanding add-on ... 5 stars for sure except for this annoying bug. I'm using FF 48, Win 7/64 Ultimate, Thanks for the great work!

Cannot work on Firefox@Ubuntu 16.04.1 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Hi, I already try this addons. On my w10 systems, this addons works flawlesly. On my Ubuntu 16.04.1, this addons not working.

Does not add much, doesn't replace Omnibar's simplicity, flexibility & functionality Rated 2 out of 5 stars

By simplicity I mean the fact that Omnibar didn't have its own list of search engines & instead used Firefox's built-in list.
By flexibility I mean a few things: Omnibar's ability to let you append the search engine keyword at the end; using @ to prevent confusing Firefox as to whether you wanted to do a default search with that letter or to use the search engine associated with it; & fuzzy keywords, that is, you can type just part of the keyword (or even just the search engine name even when it doesn't have a keyword), even just a single letter, & if your entry is unique enough to identify which search engine you intend to use, it'll pick that up.
Firefox's built-in keyword system doesn't offer these advantages either.

InstantFox offers a few things like customizing the style of your search & its suggestions, & instant-loading, but they pale in comparison to the added practicality I felt I had with Omnibar.

context search menu not working Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have Firefox 47.0.1 and context menu searching doesn't work when this addon is enabled...

Used to be excellent but something has broken Rated 4 out of 5 stars

In the last couple of Firefox updates it seems that something is broken - after loading the page the address bar does not update and the tab just hangs if an attempt is made to load another page. But prior to that it was brilliant and if the bug is fixed it will be again!

A must-have Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A separate seach box! No thanks. InstantFox is one of my must-have addins.

I use this to search everything Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've created custom shortcuts for nearly all the different searches I perform. Whenever I have to use Chrome, I find myself typing InstantFox queries into the omni box.

If you like it, note that you can export your settings to back up or transfer them to another machine.

Wonderful Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Really can't live without this add-on, so much practical, fast and useful, a mush have ! ;D

Just wanted some easy way to export the plugin from a laptop to another one, some kind of sync could be good. :D

火狐46上 地址栏缩写搜索已经失效了 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

RT,而且还有个问题 如果开启“无快捷方式的标准搜索” 还会让ipv6地址也变成搜索关键词

Disables URL autocomplete in Firefox 46 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this addon, but right now it is not working for me. Just writing this review to get attention to the issue.

(I will happily revisit and give it 5 stars when this is fixed! I have happily used this addon for a long time!)

Update: I found reinstalling InstantFox fixed the problem.
