Essentials Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This addon is one of the absolute essentials you simply need to get the sh** done.
You can configure everything and a lot more to happen when you make gesture, move your wheel or even rock your buttons!
Very useful, an awesome addon! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I normally have many tabs open, around 90. I always need to switch between them, or open links in new tabs etc.
This addon lets me do all of that, without having to use a context menu, or move my mouse halfway across the screen.
When you are making your own custom shortcuts for different things, you can draw your own pattern and it automatically calculates the directions you have moved in, so you could can use whatever shape you want. A very useful feature!
You can even create your custom script (if you are a programmer), and action to go with it, something I found very useful.
I only have one problem, you cannot start drawing your gesture when you move the mouse ONLY WHILE holding Ctrl or Alt, meaning I occasionally make a mouse gesture when I don't want to.
This is one of my favorite addons, and one of the most useful out there, I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Works well on touchscreens Rated 5 out of 5 stars
As the owner of a new convertible laptop running Windows 10, I wanted to be able to navigate websites easily in tablet mode, without having to constantly reach for the tiny back/forward buttons in the top left of the screen, or trying to click the tabs or tiny close tab buttons, again at the top of the screen, which is not natural when using a tablet. And impossible if you're using full-screen, where the UI buttons aren't visible.
While it doesn't appear to aimed at touchscreens, FireGestures is the best solution I could find, and it does work well. You just do a long touch to simulate a right mouse click, then do your gesture, and you can map any gesture to any Firefox function, like closing/switching tabs, back/forward, searching etc.
If you're scrolling around a page with your finger you may occasionally start a gesture by accident, but mostly it's not very annoying because the up/down gestures don't do anything if you're not on a link.

funcionaba bien ,pero ahora al utilizarla te deja el menu contextual despues del gesto,lo cual es bastante molesto
Awesome... but stoped working in Firefox 42.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
One of my vital plugins. Just awesome.
But... as of Firefox 42.0 it seems that something is wrong, the visual line indicator works, but that's about it. No other functionality works.
I'm sure it's just a compatibility issue and is caused by (possible) changes that come with Firefox version upgrade, so I'm not too concerned.
Just wanted to notify about the issue.
bug report - autoselected text at mouse over Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Since 2014, this extension has a serious bug: In certain conditions, the mouse pointer selects (highlights) blocks of text automatically without clicking anything, like the left mouse button has been stuck. Older versions are ok.
Steps to reproduce the bug:
Open one on more tabs
In one tab, open Google (or another server with a web fom).
In other tab, open some random web page.
In the tab with Google, left click into the search field, then click anywhere else on the page on an empty space (not link).
Switch to the other tab and move mouse over the text - it will be highlighted as you move the mouse, without clicking.
It happens very ofter (not always).
Please, correct this bug. Thank you.

Perfect! I love it.
This needs an update! Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I have been noticing freezes/crashes with Nightly 44. It crashes sometimes when I use a mouse gesture to make an arrow up the page, which is how I close tabs. I can't say for sure that it is Fire Gestures causing it, but as I said that's when it happens. It's very rare, but it happens eventually. I might try using the All In One Gestures extension and see if that makes a difference. It could just be a buggy alpha Nightly 44 for all I know. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.10.2). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
The best add-on for FF! But native ShowAllTabs command is missing in the new versions Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Really one of the reasons I am using Firefox. Total control of FF.
Allow me to control FF via gestures and clicks! !
One problem: In the last versions, the action to run the FireFox native command that shows all tabs was removed. I am using it to run showcase add-on to see all tabs in nice preview screen.
So for now, we need to change browser.rdf every time you release a new version and add RDF:resource="urn:Browser:ShowAllTabs"
Please bring back this command from the dead :)
Btw, to use this command you must have 'list all tabs' icon on the normal toolbar or in the Vertical Toolbar.
Great... but one problem Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is my favorite gesture add-on; it works the most fluidly and feels faster. There's one glaring problem that forces me to use a different extension: when I'm on a page that is not at exactly 100% zoom there is no recognition of the link the gesture starts on, as it sees the link where it used to be before the zoom altered the page. That is when I'm using it to open links in new tabs and such. Maybe this is only a problem in the developer edition of firefox. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.10.2).
Hope it can continues work in Firefox 40.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The lovest gestures tool! Hope it can continues work in Firefox 40.0. I update my browser but can't use FireGestures now made me sad...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.10.2).
Bug with E10s enabled Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great extension, best among the group with custom script gestures.
One bug: "Open Link in Current Tab" gesture not works, if E10s enabled. Please fix (of course I can commenting "charset" parameter so it will work).
UPD. aurora 43 and firegestures 1.10.2. My comment exactly because it's not fixed with 1.10.2.
Which version of FireGestures are you using?
The bug was fixed in 1.10.2.
Backup wont works on FF40.x Rated 3 out of 5 stars

How does it work?
Супер! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Очень просто, меньше весит и лучше работает чем all in one gestures. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.10.1).
Bad responsiveness on some sites. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Not working on Nightly 43.0a1 - 64 bit Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Not working on Nightly 43.0a1 - 64 bit
It's working on Firefox 32 bit version 40.0.2
I did email the developer, this is just for info.
In my options under the “mapping” area there is nothing, it’s completely clean, empty!! The previous versions always had the mapping showing all the gestures, but it has nothing. Maybe that’s why it’s not working, because it’s not seeing any mapping to do??
E10s enabled or disabled I can’t get it to work.
I have used it a long time and really enjoy it. I hope it will be fixed.
Thanks for making a great add-on!!!
Excellent time saver! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I have used this add-on for a while now. If you know how to write Java script snippets, this add-on will help to save you time for everyday little tasks (e.g. "move tab to the end"), especially in conjunction with Tree Style Tabs.
I am using it with a mouse and a desktop PC. I have not tried it on a Windows 10 tablet, yet. If the mouse gestures also work with your fingers on the multitouch panel, it may even be a bigger time saver than it already is for the desktop. (As you could define finger gestures for typical keyboard actions that are not readily available when working with a tablet...)
(In response to one review below: I had never any text selection problems with or due to this add-on. Maybe this helps: Try to hold down the Alt key, while you select text within a link on a web page.)
Support forum Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Firegestures is for me one of the inalienable addons by now.
I made many user scripts that make my web browsing much comfortable and faster.
Can't wait the e10s version that will solve limits with flash elements and, I hope, remedy to the long-dated problem that makes the gestures jerky while pages are loading in Firefox.
Here is a request: please open again a support forum where users can share their scripts and ask for help.
For example now I've a little problem with a script that uses an asynchronous XMLHttpRequest, and a support forum would be a great help.
One fatal flaw? Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I like it fine, but tend not to use it for one simple reason: WHEN IT'S ENABLED IT MAKES TEXT SELECTION IMPOSSIBLE. Since i'm constantly saving paragraphs of text, i can't use FireGestures, sob.
Just one simple hotkey disable/enable toggle would easily fix this gotcha.
