This is an excellent nice little add on for those meticulous people like me who like things simple and organized.

Stolen code, and has the nerve to give a 1-star review to an alternative, non-stolen addon.

I've begun using "aaapptabs." I switched because aapptabs is restartless. Coming back here, I find that this is supposedly stolen from someone. On top of that, it really REALLY bugs me when people have spelling errors describing their product (NOTE: this has benn tested on... *been*), and even more so that their homepage is a dead link. The description obviously hasn't been updated since before Firefox 4's release.
I just verified it for myself. This was released on deviant art on I checked it for myself. The add-on on deviant art is submitted November 6, 2010. This was released on here February 2011. The difference between AppTab Nav-B-Gone and AppTabDoohickey is that AppTab Nav-B-Gone contains a .js file with all the functions in the .xul of AppTabDoohickey.

just tired of you haters and wanted to clearify some things

I second (or third?) the removal of this addon... While DeviantART wouldn't be someplace most people would look for addons, it isn't right to take someone else's work and claim it as your own. I was going to use this until I saw it wasn't his, so now I won't. (Well, I would use the one off of dA, but it only works with tabs on top which I don't use, so I still can't.)

Add-on stolen from deviantART. This is not even about giving credit, this is outright stealing, even if credit was given, which it hasn't been.

This add-on should be removed immediately, so that the original developer can upload his own without competing against his own add-on. This is ridiculous.

Very handy addon. Thanks ^_^

@Link6155, I don't know about everyone else, but when I want an addon for firefox, I come here, not deviantart. To me, this is the "obvious" place to come for firefox extensions, not some art site.

horrible. You had violated number 4 Terms of service in

I had check the codings of this and it matches the one SoapyHamHocks had made.

@MaximumFish, SoapyHamHocks is a great addon maker and all of his addon are original and great. You cannot accuse him of putting his work on Deviantart, which has thousands and thousands of more viewer than this.

Almost Exactly What I need Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is an excellent nice little add on for those meticulous people like me who like things simple and organized.

But would it be possible to open all links in pinned tabs in a new tab? Usually, my pinned tabs are portals to other pages. I don't want to navigate away from that page(that's why I'm using this add-on in the first place), so I want to automatically open links in new tabs.

Again, thank you for this extension. Oh BTW, if you're an open source coder, you should give credit to where credit is due.

Perfect. Stops me from accidentally navigating away from a pinned site, which is exactly what I was after.

@SoapyHamHocks If you are the original creator of this addon, why on Earth didn't you upload it here instead of distributing it via DeviantArt and a public Dropbox share? I don't condone ripping off other people's work but you wouldn't have this problem if you'd just put it here to start with, and I'm sorry, but I'd much rather trust an addon hosted on the official addon site than through your chosen method. I take it you didn't find anything malicious in this apparent rip-off so I think I'll stick with this.

Great addon! SoapyHamHocks -- you should upload your add-on to the firefox addon site so more users can find the original thing. Although this supposed rip-off works fine for me.

I don't appreciate you ripping off my add-on. You used the same code I used in a previous version all the way down to the function names and attribute name. Here is my addon for reference: http://soapyhamhocks.deviantart.com/#/d329hfg Although I'll admit your name is much better.

Great start Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have a couple of ideas for you moving forward. Rename it to AppTab+ and start adding new features for manipulation of AppTabs and their views. First new thing that I believe should be added to complete the functionality of an AppTab is to block the use of an AppTab for the opening of any URL which navigates outside of the AppTab's set domain. This works currently for clicking a link in an AppTab, but should also extend to clicking of a bookmark from your toolbar or entering a URL manually (in the case of your refined view, through the Alt+D command).

Simple, to the point, does what it says it does. Hides the toolbars you wouldn't use with AppTabs, giving more space for content (which was part of the original plan for AppTabs, but didn't make it into Fx4).
