One more comment for this addon haters Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Most of you throw mud at this addon comparing it with Zen and Browsec. Please note that it all depends on your location/country rules. Been using both Zen and AnonymoX for a very long time, both are sterling. However, now I can't use Zen anymore cause it's already blocked in my country, so is Browsec. AnonymoX is still greatly on. So please, check the situation more carefully before posting sh*t.

Have you tried the "Switch Identity" button? There should be around 10 IPs.

works but is not anonymous proxy Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The soft works but this is not anonymous how its claims. I've been detected in several Ip leak tests. They could past through the webproxy filtering and detect my IP, OS, browser fingerprint and other privacy settings

The mentioned site probably uses Flash or Java to detect the IP address. Flash and Java are not supported by anonymox, you should turn them off if you need best anonymity.

You can switch OS and browser fingerprint in the Add-On (menu "More"), it is not changed by default because it confuses websites.

ty and goodbye! Rated 2 out of 5 stars

After a good while i decided finally to move on and have other tool similar with this one that can do the job much better. All i can say that is not worth having it in your browser. The most annoying about it are the adverts that keep pop up in the middle of your screen.

Terrible product - Pésimo producto Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The free version displays advertisements almost three per minute, in the middle of the screen. It is unbearable , so I uninstalled . La versión gratuita despliega casi tres propagandas por cada minuto, en el medio de la pantalla. Es insoportable, así que la he desinstalado.

Not more nesessary... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

In the past, I used this addon, because it was the only one with this features. But frankly, it is very slowly and the nagging screen makes me crazy.

This addon is at present not more the first state of the art. There are better tools meantime at start safety and VPNs are better (and much quicker!) for encrypts traffic and anonymous surfing than proxies: I recommend:
1. Zenmate VPN (no nagging advertisements) Server location in several countries like Germany, UK, Switzerland, HongKong etc.) or
2.Browsec VPN (Server location in netherland)

Proxies should be the second choice - VPN is more secure...

Uninstalled in a heartbeat Rated 1 out of 5 stars

While I can understand that the proxies need some funding, having ads even when the proxy function is disabled is completely unacceptable. This hassleware will even spam you with the premium paid offer.

Don't be lazy, don't use it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.6.1-signed).

There should not be any ads when it's disabled. But as anonymoX uses profiles, there is no global "disabled" state. When it is disabled and you switch to another site, it might be enabled without you doing anything. Are you sure it was disabled for the current site when the ad popped up?

So the FREE version has 1) POPUPS 2) throttled browsing. So even when you turn off the extension you still get the POPUPS and the throttled browsing. CRAP CRAP CRAP

Add-on Works great but with some issue Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi,

I am using this add-on since last 1 month & its works great.
I am facing below Major Issue.
1 ) UK I.P shows i am using internet from USA
2) USA I.P shows i am using internet from Indonesia
3) Since last 1 week UK I.P fails to load.

Request to resolve this issue asap.

You probably refer to Google, they associate IP addresses with the country that most people (detected by language) visit, not the IP-based country.
All of our proxy servers are pysically located in the advertised countries, that shouldn't be the issue.
