Xcellent.
Now I can search for a project in Github, a CSS property in Mozilla dev, a documentary on indy database 1, 2 and 3 in a second. Feeling smart at last ;)

Very useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's so simple to use it - you gain a lot of time with it. Needs Firefox to restart.

Плагин полезный, однако далеко не везде видит поисковую строчку. Например, здесь: http://www.superjob.ru/clients/?key=&ruf=1&town=4&no_vac=off
Хорошо бы доработать

Huge productivity enhancement Rated 5 out of 5 stars

1. Add search engines to your Firefox with Add to Search Bar
2. Use Organize Search Engines to arrange top (eg 10) engines
3. Use SelectionSK with "Show top 10 engines" enabled

Then any text you highlight on any webpage can be searched with stores, wikipedia, google, ebay, youtube, twitter, imdb, tv guide etc with a single click, in a new tab.

As other commenter said, doesn't work on all sites but its great for many sites. Organize Search Engines can help with a few sites for which Add to Search Bar does not. eg dx.com can be added manually using http://www.dx.com/s/{searchTerms} as the search url (and a dummy entry {searchTerms}= for the Get params).

Great timesaving extension! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Had this for years, works on both Pale Moon and FF, saves me so much time it's ridiculous! It's so easy to hit a site running rather than pull the page up and then search. Can't thank you enough for this one!

Very useful!!! Thank you!

But if you, like me, use search engines in languages that have accents, like Portuguese, some engines may not find the words you search for, because of the wrong character encoding. In this case, try this:

After the page of a dictionary is opened, under Firefox menu "View" change the character encoding of the page to UTF-8. Only THEN (!) add the search engine to the search bar. That way the engine will be created with UTF-8 encoding and words with accents will be found.

Very useful; one minor complaint Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This app is extremely useful for sites that you frequently search. My only complaint is that when you add the new website search to the search bar, it becomes the default search for your next search. Just because I want to add it as an option for searching, doesn't mean I want it to become my preferred search engine.

Does not work with all sites, but where and when it does, it's a great add-on to have!

Good, but I notice that the Addon is advertised at version 2.5. Having installed it, it reports 2.0. Caught me out a few times, as I've tried to force an update by removing and re-installing, but always get version 2.0.

This has worked quite well on a couple of sites for me with Firefox 30. There are certain sites that don't work with it, like IMDb, which also doesn't work with the built-in function of FF to add search engines, so I suppose there may be certain difficulties on those sites, like too much Javascript concealing the search function etc.

Excellent but could benefit from backup feature and improved compatibility Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good: Everything. The purpose of it is super and it does what it should.
Bad: Not all serch fields work (For instance the search field of http://hashtagify.me/ can not be added). There should also REALLY be a way to download or backup your saved search motors to a file in order for them to be transferred (uploaded) to the FF search field on other computers etc.
