Appears to work as advertised; skimmed the source code, didn't see anything overly clunky.
The downsides are:
- Pops open a registration page on install and does not make it clear that registration wasn't required at all
- The toolbar button is added in a non-standard way, meaning it can't be moved around either
. - Adds a useless status bar entry used to display status - even when I'm not taking screenshots.
Worked fine with a trunk nightly (20101221) with override. Uses html:canvas for taking a screenshot.
Fits well with non-glossy desktops Rated 4 out of 5 stars
(Note: I'm using version 1.99 available on the external site, with Thunderbird 220.127.116.11; that version claims to support Thunderbird 2.)
Nice looking theme that fits into my Windows XP/Classic desktop better than the default theme found in Tbird 2.0. Some of the icons seem to be derived from the Pinstripe (Mac Thunderbird) icons, but they fit in well. The preview pane header lacks a bottom border, and can be confusing when viewing HTML messages with a none-white background.
The mail toolbar does not appear to support small icons, but the compose window does. The add-ons manager window is basically unsupported (no icons whatsoever, much worse than the default Qute).
I find the non-shiny look to be comfortable for me; it is pretty, yet the icons are clearly distinguishable and not overly attention-grabbing.
