With Firefox 4 - this addon is broken for both Windows & Mac.
It doesn't clip to desktop client on either platform.
It's f@%& up for Firefox 3.6 as well - I use 22.214.171.124760 - last sane version which works the way it WAS expected.

So is it only me having trouble clipping bits off GMail ?
I need it quite a lot
Breaks workflow Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I didn't notice any improvements since 1.5.2 - to which I rolled back as 1.5.3 messes with ListAllTabs widget's tab listings - it makes current tab (which was bold black) - blue and italic.
It might be fine for some, if highlighting (for said tab in the list) wasn't blue itself. It almost completely blinds tab's title. FAIL.

It's more and more apparent that Sxipper is all but abandonware now. 3.6 is around the corner, but Sxipper is broken, and no signs of life ...
Yet I'd love to be proven wrong. I got used to much to it.
New adopters - stay away for now.

@SyDoX : I use "Hide All Toolbars" with "keyconfig" [hidealltoolbars.onMenuItemCommand(event);] - works like charm. Never tried this one though. Will try on test profile next - when I have time to fiddle. O.K. will give ★★★★ as I don't know if I need this one (a dozen of icons/tools in my statusbar already makes it a real toolbar - so I'm not sure if I need to AUTO-hide it)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.4).

This is incredibly shitty addon.
Not only it has stupid UI, it crapped in about:config file ....
Shiiite UI so far ... Update: Shiiite Addon overall Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Update: just found by accident, that it'd put loads of crap in my about:config file.
This is a crappy as they get.
Just installed, not used yet ...
It's "button" takes place of 3 buttons!!!
You can't take it off either (shortcuts at least seem to work)
Really stupid UI, should use gray/highlighted modalities instead (press the button, and it reports how many videos it's found) - I don't need to know 95% of the time it's there, that Video count is 0!!!!!!!
If you change this, I'll get back and change my rating.
(Stupid UI thinking seldom signifies good functioning addon)
Customization request Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I started dragging tabs between windows a lot recently (re-organizing groups/sessions).
It's annoying that sidepanel opens all the time when I happen to pass over the icon on toolbar.
Can we/I have option to disable it's reactions on dragging tabs on it? (I'm a keyboard person - never use dragging except where shortcuts not practical)
Otherwise love it!
Thanks & Request ;) Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Fantastic piece of addon!
Installed 5 minutes ago - just works (on a 3.1b2p/Mac/GrApple !!!)
I'd love a dedicated entry in 'Tools' drop-down menu (along with Stylish, etc) so that it accessed not only from 'Add-ons' pane, or statusbar.
(I'll put a key shortcut on it - to gradually tweak all my commonly used tabs/sites)
And this takes me to a second point: Make rules I did intervene on - stick. Say if I took off check mark on the rule (domain basically), that same rule would never be created/activated again (now it creates duplicates of it, if I did take check off).
So that I could have some sites to show repeated parts of the title - if I chose so.
That will allow for a beautiful customization workflow.
Whenever I happen (having 150+ tabs open already) to find tabs/domain I'd like to "retitle" - it would do so, without messing with the titles I've already made decision on.
Also - showing only recently changed/added rules, with the color for example, would be nice.
Broken on Firefox 3.1beta2pre Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Flashblock is a must for me!
So I'm looking forward to get it fixed.
Is it Firefox that breaks it?
Or is it Flash 10 that I've installed recently?
9/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Yes it's much better!!!
Though ability to see 'focus' (on tabs, or when adding tags when bookmarking, in particular) - to navigate with keyboard almost dealbreaker for me.
(for clueless : double click tab, now press Cmnd+arrow ...)
I'll give it another shot, and probably will learn to live with guessing where focus is.
Nevertheless - seeing focus is a standard practice across the OS X, and is a Godsend for keyboard people.
So I hope you'll give it some thought.
(Especially as no new stuff/features has to be added - just "release" features that's there already - spare the effort to suppress it ;))
Peace, keep up the good work!
WOW, ARONNAX - FANTASTIC REPLY AS ALWAYS !!!
And I have one more question as always ;)))
> do you know by chance of any way to move 'focus' to a tab - using keyboard ?
That could be some fancy shortcut, or maybe an extension?
Needs explicit Mac OS X support Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Didn't work on Mac OS X.5.4 / FF3.0.2pre.
But changing the theme to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6703 - allowed me to disable some menus, including History & Bookmarks! (it says "not implemented yet")
Though sometimes crashes in the process of applying new settings.
Would love some Mac support - recognizing app menu as well.
Not working on a Mac Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Did nothing - could not hide anything.
Can anybody advise on something like that that works on a Mac?

Thanks & Request ;))) Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Hey John Locke, really nice job!
FF3 Proto refugee here ;(((
Just discovered GrApple, but willing to try yours also.
What I NEED : 1) favicons in the tabs!
2) "tab focus" sp that I can double click tab, and then move it around with Cmnd+Arrows(+Fn!!!)
Is there any way to add it ?!!
OR : maybe not add, but subtract part that "messes" with Tabs ?
That is I dont care for close buttons being on left or right, I usually have them disabled, with all the options from about:config.
And, it's a Firefox after all, and I like it's Safari looks, not because of Safari, but because it looks cool, but it can be different also!!!
There's no value to be anal in copying down to every bit. We're not trying to hide the fact that we LOVE FF, do we?
(That said, I'd love FF3/Foxdie to omit "YouTube" part i.e., from "Tab Label" when I have multiple pages of youtube i.e. opened = that is : showing only "content" part of the "label" not the host site name, just like Safari 3 does !!!)
Loved until 0.10.1 it's FUGLY!!! Not yet rated
PLEASE let in some flexibility - to fine tune Looks & some aspects, and please don't make this ROUNDED look default on 3b3, PLEASE DON'T !!!!
It's especially ugly on MB's 1280 screen.
I mostly love 0.9.1 looks, rather would love to have address & search fields squared, just like buttons (on 0.9.1)
