Keep the cookies you want, delete the rest.
This add-on has started as an update of CookieCuller for newer Firefox version. I have finally rewrote the whole code, based on the Mozilla cookie window.About site permissions:
CookieKeeper permit to modify the cookies permissions for a domain (right click on a cookie → Permissions). Cookies permissions is a Mozilla functionality, CookieKeeper just add or remove domain to the list. To check your settings, please refer to theses instructions
[Mozilla support link].
The version v1.7.3
of CookieKeeper add a panel to the preferences for this. It is almost a copy of the Firefox one.MacOSX Users:
I am sorry, I do not have a Mac, so it is difficult for me to test on your system. I know there is UI issues on Apple/OSX which do not happen on GNU/Linux nor on MS/Windows.
For the protected cookies list, I have done a small fix in v1.7.3
But I think you should also consider to change the default preferences (about:config) "browser.preferences.animateFadeIn" to false. The default value seems to be set to true on Mac (and I know it is set to false on others systems).Note:
Actually, there is no official way for an add-on to get the content of the DOM Storage (HTML5) database. However, accessing directly the DOM Storage database works. The next release of CookieKeeper (1.8.0) will support them, but some limitations are expected.
