Great, but why GIF frame counter isn't working?
Should display, e.g. "GIF image (animated, 15 frames)".

17ESR Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Can you fix it so it works with 17ESR. Thank you.

Some people can't leave things alone. They have a compulsive need to change things for the sake of changing them. Yes, I am referring to the FF developers. It is clear there is something wrong with them.

Version 8 (1/14/2013) fixes the problem with it not showing the file size due changes in the FF cache. I can confirm it now works with FF18. Keep up the great work! :)

Mozilla tries to make Firefox only replicate Chrome in every way it can (chrome doesn't have a properties window). This addon reverses Mozilla's insane decision to remove the properties window. Thanks for this, dev

This add-on does just what is supposed to do, no more. Is working fine for me since Firefox 4.

Great but it lacks a necessary feature on file link: show their size. Please add it to your addon.

These obsolete add-ons may inspire you:

not working as well as expected FF8 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

it doesn't always work .. or I should say doesn't always show on the right click context menu .. case in point I'm looking at a graphic on a dishnetwork page, right click the graphic and there's no "properties" there.. there is a "view background image" and after selecting that, I get the image on a page by itself ... and THEN right clicking that image I get a properties and it shows the information I'd expect.. but I've no clue why it isn't displaying on *EVERYTHING* like it did when I first installed the plugin under 5 or 6.

Its disappointing when Mozilla programmers act as arrogantly as Microsoft or Google in only giving us what *they* think is important ... but because they don't find a feature useful to the 98th percentile it *must* be unnecessary and must be wasteful of what? 30 lines of code? a 100 lines of code? in the grand scheme of things even a 1000 lines of code is nothing compared to the final program. So disappointing.

Good, I'm using it with FF8. Should be part of bare FF, not as an add-on.

works in FF6. Exactly what I was looking for. Provides "Properties" in right click menu. Pop up shows link and provides copy capabilities.

Works with Firefox 4.0 - at least right clicking on a url, select Properties, and can view the link details before actually clicking the link. Thanks!

sweetness Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm glad this has been made.
It's sad though that without add-ons Firefox would be a poor browser at best, that's how severely the default UI has been stripped.

The main reason I wanted this was to restore the "Properties" context menu item for right-clicking on tabs. Unfortunately, this extension does not restore this feature that some brain dead Mozilla employee removed from 3.6.x.

The retooling of the FF UI in the 4 betas and stuff like this makes me think of leaving Firefox permanently and moving to Google Chrome for everything.

5 out of 5, does just what it says on the tin.
Btw, this has been fixed in the newer builds, if you are willing to install a beta version.

Works perfectly - thank you!

@ -jen: That's normal for any addon for which there just aren't any options.

Thanks much for this add-on! The "Options" option is greyed out in my instance... Is this normal for this addon?

It works great - really nice and easy! I'm not sure why they removed element properties to begin with, but I'm glad this extension is available.
