My Reviews

Emoji Keyboard

Doesn't Work Very Well Rated 1 out of 5 stars

If you are looking for an Emoji add-on you really only have two choices. This one "Emoji Keyboard." OR "Emoji Cheatsheet"

But there are problems with both of them. The "Emoji Keyboard" has ALL updated emoji's, including different skin pigmentation (or race pigmentation.) BUT regardless, while using it it doesn't work properly with some website (i.e. facebook, etc) . . it will almost always mess up anything you've written when adding the emoji's, and forget trying to duplicating the same emoji (adding the same emoji numerous times.) . . than adding a different one will mess up everything you might have just written. Moving on. . .

Emoji Cheatsheet works well with almost any website. BUT lacks respect for other races with not having different skin pigmentation (or race pigmentation.) It's 2017 and it's time to get with the program and stop living in the 19 Century!
Other cons with this add-on are that some of the emoji's listed don't even work and again, it is not updated with all updated emoji's available.

My advise is simply stop using both of them! By doing so, maybe the developer will realize that they should update the add-on. All add-on's that are not kept up-to-date on Firefox should be removed from it's website. It is Hypocritical for Firefox to update itself but not expect developers to keep there's add-on's updated also!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.8.8).

Video DownloadHelper

Interesting... Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It's Interesting that "Video DownloadHelper" deleted my question and review I had just wrote on Aug. 24
...seems like that they can't take the truth!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.4.1).

Download Cleaner

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Well . . 2 (two) little stars for effort!

It works "sometimes" and sometimes it doesn't. It also seemed to slow things down a little to.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1-signed.1-signed).

Re: Sounds - clarification Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Just a suggestion ..that a sound (beep) be added, and with the option to turn it on and/or off. :p

Re: Sounds - clarification

Hi Abine, thanks for the reply.

. . .i was thinking a sound to indicate and/or alert that there is something being blocked (but what you mentioned 'to indicate of not blocking' could and/or might be useful to some.) The reason for the suggestion was mainly because you don't see what it's doing, unless you directly look at the "Do Not Track Plus" icon on the toolbar.
. . .alternatively maybe a transparent drop-down or pop-up (in corner of the page) showing what it's blocked on the web page that one is on at that present time. ..and this transparent drop-down or pop-up would fade out after 3 - 5 seconds, or whatever amount of time the user chooses.

...wInKs!!
