My Reviews

Panemoticon

Nice Idea but Bad Music Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Cacophonous and nonrhythmic scarce selection of sounds.

Drag-Select Link Text

Very Usefull and Works Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The perfect* way to select text within links, which also enables link drag-and-drop functionality.

*It would have been even more perfect if you could hold the mouse on a link to select all its text.

Restartless Restart

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent! Does exactly what it suppose to: Restarts your Firefox session to exactly the state it was before the restart (preserving all your windows, tabs and tabs history), except for clearing the cache, so that only the focused tabs are loaded, and the rest reload when you select them (This is a great plus in my opinion. I only use restart when my session has gotten huge, so I restart to free the memory, but I think you can change this behavior to load all the tabs through tweaking some FF options). Also it has a hot-key, which might "save you" in case your window is slow/stuck. And all of this without needing to restart the browser in order to enable/disable the add-on when you download it or disable it.

ZZ Gif Player

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does what it says with ease. No interface - can be nice when you get used to it (easy), but some feedback (e.g. for the playing speed) could be useful.

Permanent List-all-tabs Button

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does exactly what it's supposed to.
PS: I've now found out (thanks to "Thomas Bertels" comment below) that this feature is native in FF (but only when 18 or more tabs are open), so I don't need it so much.

Ratings Preview for YouTube™

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great Add-On! Does exactly what it says: shows the rating under every video's thumbnail in a bar + text information (likes% + likes# + its own rating based on likes% and likes# combined). Enables do determine the bar thickness and also to highlight the best videos on every list (search page, side suggestions etc.) - how many you tell it to (0-8). However, there has been a few times where the add-on didn't work by default (though it was enabled), and I had to disable it and then enable it for it to work (But then again - it doesn't require FF restart so it's not a big deal)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.3.1.1-signed).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Stop YouTube Autoplay

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

simply doesn't work.

Ratings Preview for YouTube™

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

puts an ideal-sized rating bars on every video thumbnail on every page (not incl. the thumbnails that appear at the end of a video of course, since it's flash). great for picking videos from search and even from video-page side-bar. just a shame it's doesn't support Firefox 20 at the moment, so I replaced it with "Youtube Video Preview", which has also 3-frames-preview.

Youtube Video Preview

Nice to have (bringing YouTube up to scratch) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does exactly what it says:
(1) puts compact rating bars on every video thumbnail on every page (not incl. the thumbnails that appear at the end of a video of course, since it's flash). the bars might even be too small (3 pixel high on my 1080 screen).
(2) shows about 3 frames from the video when hovering on thumbnail. it appears to shrink the frame sizes a little bit in the search page when hovering.

Overall, not a necessity but nice to have.
PS. I used "YouTube™ Ratings Preview" before that for the ratings part, which has more pronounced rating bars, so you may want to check it out as well.

Stealthy

Works! (for region restricted YT videos) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Tried to load one region restricted YT video. Stealthy got the job done! Maybe a little slower loading. ps. had to go to settings to change to USA

Tab History Menu

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Wish there was an option to show only when you double-click tab, because left click is very annoying! (every time I switch tab the menu appears). Or instead of hiding it when shift/ctrl/alt are pressed - show it ONLY when they are pressed
