As always, this add-on is great, in principle. One of the most important add-ons in my view anyway. However, and sorry for having to say that again, FindBar Tweak makes user editable text boxes on webpages almost unusable.
As soon as you highlight any text in an editable text box, FindBar Tweak goes completely crazy highlighting stuff all over the place. Even if you highlight one single letter only in a text box, every single occurrence of that very letter gets highlighted not only in the text box, but in the entire current webpage:
Sorry but this bug is pathetic, and I will continue to moan about it until it gets finally fixed -- still hoping that FindBar Tweak does not turn into abandonware after all because it seems that there has been no significant development and bugfixing since January.
Hoping for a fix which will make me donate a significant amount.
FF19 with tabs in titlebar and Classic Theme Restorer: can't get rid of the Tab scrolling buttons
then use this extension before you have properly read the description.
It lists ALL extensions options, not just deprecated ones. So it's very easy to inadvertently delete everything...
Can't change the settings. Too many h-levels and respective scrollbar ballons.
Abandonware, like so many great addons?
...at least Media Stealer still seems to find stream urls in FF 28. Haven't tried downloading though, since the find stream function is all I'm after.
Find stream URL, copy it and play it (without downloading) in SMplayer or VLC.
Would be amazing if a button could be added that simply opens the selected stream in an external player.
Keep up the good work!
BHF seems to block more ads than the big competitors, on the pages I frequently visit.
This is exactly the way software should be. Sleek, fast, and almost invisible -- yet functional.
Thank you Diego.
...and sporadically. Otherwise good.
useless, doesn't do anything here (Windows 7, FF 27 incl. Findbar Tweak)
how does it work? Is there a button to press somewhere? Where? Is it automatic? How often?
This is a waste of time.
...that (stupid enough) places a floating fixed DIV on every page, killing scroll performance on older PC's.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.2).
This is a fantastic, indispensable add-on. Would be. If it worked. However, with every update of Firefoxʼ idiotic rapid release model, LiveClick tends to break and cease functioning. Therefore unfortunately, it has been a source of repeated frustration for me. (FF26.0)edit, ten minutes later:After installing v 1.0 from protejohnny's homepage, now it seems to be the turn of "it works" again.............edit, one day later: broken again
FF 25.0.1 -- no menu anymore at all, with either the Menu Bar checkbox ticked, and unticked.
Had been working perfectly before :(
Five stars for @Velocitas workaroundThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.2). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
worked like a charmThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Strangely, I only get the HTML source view with NEWLY created mail, not when editing a replied or forwarded mail. With the latter, the HTML source tab is simply blank :(
(Everything used to work in TB 3, but now not anymore in TB24)
would be perfect if it allowed editing during compare...
no popup neither when pressing Ctrl+D nor when selecting the menu entry "Folder Selection"
Looks good. However I am yet to find an extension that allows simple sticky notes and saves them into the html of the page when I save the page to disk, preferably as MHT file.
GUI is in french only, there's no option settings dialog, and I dont understand that "importing a DTD" stuff unfortunately. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.12).
