Red Cats (green flavor)

Missing the Cats Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I really miss my Red Cats theme and the update seems to be taking longer than usual. Today I read an article about changes coming to FF that made me wonder if I'd ever see my cats again: http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/nov/20/firefox-google-yahoo-mozilla

So, why update now when changes are expected? But please, Red Cats creator, please continue with your theme, even after the changes are in effect. Red Cats may be the only reason I'll use FireFox because normally I avoid Yayhoo as a potential link to malware. Here's part of a comment quote from the above link re Yayhoo: "I mention all this, because I have noticed a distinct correlation between Yahoo users and their PCs being rendered practically unusable by malware - so this news worries me as a Firefox user."

I hope Mozilla addresses the changes with it's loyal followers.

Latest Beta Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Where can I find the latest Beta version for Red Cats (green flavor)? Will it work with Mac?

Ditto HELP! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I found this information in the Mozilla add-ons section: "Some of the add-ons at Mozilla add-ons have been abandoned by the author."

Since the link to the "Cats" developer web site doesn't work any longer, are fans of his/her add-ons to assume that they've been "abandoned"? The last update for this add-on was March 25, 2012, so I keep checking for an update.

Would someone from Firefox/Mozilla please post whether this add-on will be updated and if so, when. I tried to find a suitable alternative, but the few that are "compatible" aren't really appealing, especially the ugly gray default. (P.S. Mac update needed.)
