FabTabs doesn't work on all pages, specifically mainly-white pages. It just turns the tab black with white text. The tab should be white with black text, right?! This is throwing me off numerous times- I'm TRYING to use it the way other people say they're using it- to locate pages. But the darn thing disguises Youtube, Google, the Add-ons page, ect. where Newgrounds and other mainly-black pages are!!! PLEASE fix this, it's getting on my nerves!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.6).
Instantfox really did save my Firefox.
I just switched from Google Chrome, and the reason I loved THAT was the lack of clutter compared to Internet Explorer (which I'd switched from), the awesome "brushed steel" theme, & the "omnibar" (fusion between an address bar and a searchbar).
Man, I don't miss a thing.
The brushed metal theme? I got Firefox's "brushed metal XP" Persona. So long, themes!
The lack of clutter? There's a bit more thickness to the taskbar than Chrome, but compared to the half-a-screen-thick taskbar from IE, Firefox is f-ing awesome Besides, it's immune to the constant thickening IE gets, like Chrome. Who needs IE?
And the Omnibar? That's where Instantfox comes in. If it weren't for it, I would've switched back to Chrome the first time I found out that there was no Omnibar. It's become a personal essential to my Internet experience.
Instantfox saved my Firefox.
I saw this thing before I typed in a search (luckily I went to the Apps page the first time I opened Firefox), and thought, "Wai- well, if anything has to beat chrome, the Omnibar has to be replicated, and I guess this is what that's for..."
...And Instantfox not only replicates the Omnibar, it trumps it.
Though I have to remember to type "g" before anything I search to get Google, the Omnibar only has one search engine it can use without going into the Wrench menu and telling it to use another. Instantfox? I have it set to search Newgrounds, Google, Youtube, Wikipedia, Bulbapedia, AND Deviantart, negating my old need to have those sites bookmarked.
I don't really see anything wrong with it. It's just awesome.
