Vkontakte disable away.php

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

shitty js. makes my firefox freeze like a zombie.

Simplify Awesome Bar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for the extremely useful addon. Though, I really miss Quick Find feature, as SAB overrides it — when I press "/", Quick Find bar appears but focus is switched to the address bar. I would really appreciate making Quick Find work in the next addon version.

Ghostery

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for this great extension!

The only thing I miss is movable icon in add-on bar, 'cause the icon in nav bar doesn't show how many items are being currently blocked.

Omnibar

Actually that's not MY fix, I only copied it from some forum :) . Thank for the new add-on version.

Omnibar

Just found a workaround for this bug. Paste this to your userChrome.css:

#omnibar-defaultEngine {
height: 16px; !important;
width: 16px !important;}

A Better Firefox Add-on Bar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Extremely useful add-on for netbook users like me.

The only thing, I would really like add-on bar to appear on top-right side, under Bookmarks bar. Is there a way to implement this by editing some add-on files?

Secure Login

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Cool extension. Though, I wonder how to modify extensions.secureLogin@blueimp.net.autoLoginExceptions parameter to prevent Secure Login from autologin on some site. I tried different ways but no one worked...

Tabs Always In Titlebar

Can you please make the same extension for Thunderbird? It would be great.

Show Address Only

Good add-on, but unfortunately it doesn't work when looking through merged inbox in Unified Folders pane.

Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus

See what You want to see Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Element Hiding Helper is a true scalpel that provides an easy way to cut out any tricky ad or some unnecessary web-page element.

Web-sites are just overloaded with ads and all that social stuff: tweet me! digg me! like me! drink me!.. Dammit! I do value my privacy and, what's even more important, my inner peace... and that's why Element Hide Helper is an extension I cannot imagine Firefox without.

It's great to have such a handy tool making it possible to hide any unwanted content. Now that's me who decide what to see and what not to — and this rocks!

By the way, guys, there are some hidden options you may like. Go to about:config and search for extensions.elemhidehelper.selectelement_key — voila, you can set up the hotkeys (if there are several keys combinations, the working one will be the first hotkey that is not used by Firefox or any other add-on). Another useful setting is extensions.elemhidehelper.showhelp — switch it to «false» to prevent keyboard shortcuts help from showing up each time you hide something.

A Double Click to Close Tab

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Cool add-on, but it surely should't close a tab when double-click in text fields, the location bar, etc. I always select a word by double-clicking it (and I think there is a lot of people doing so), and therefore I have to look for another add-on. It would be a really great extension if you add some options.

FireGestures

Great Speedup for Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Mouse gestures are a great thing, so FireGestures is one of add-ons I install first. It provides a really fast and simple way to manipulate the browser: any action, from moving over a web page to getting into Firefox options, takes less than half a second; I can hardly recollect when I last clicked the main menu button.

Being a minimalism fan, I do appreciate FireGestures's letting me make Firefox interface a bit more spartan: my toolbars now contain almost no buttons (except add-ons' ones). And, what also matters, this extension is easily customizable, extendable and lightweight.

FireGestures surely is a true must-have for those who like doing things efficiently.
