I use Tile Tabs all the time, but typically only activate it to view two tabs side-by-side (left/right). I most commonly accomplish this with F12 because I don't like using the drop-down menus. If I have numerous tabs open and I do not want to change their order, I use the "shift-drag" mouse function. To tile tabs that are not next to each other, simply do the following:
1. view one of the tabs you want tiled
2. hold "shift"
3. drag the tab you want tiled over the window of the tab you're currently viewing - an icon (labeled "Above," "Right," "Left," or "Below") will appear to the left of the cursor depending on where the cursor is on the window
Thanks for writing this extension!
Non-intrusive, very informative and useful functionality when opening file locations or when installing downloads. Unfortunately I haven't found a keyboard shortcut to "clear all" so the bar goes away, but if you just pull up the download window (ctrl + J), hit (Tab) then (Enter) then (Esc) the bar disappears. Of course if you like to save your downloads you'll probably need to dig deeper to find another workaround. You could just click the "clear" button on the right hand side, but sometimes it's nice to be able to continue reading while removing the statusbar... hopefully keyboard shortcut functionality will be added!
If you use LaTeX or other scripting software, Zotero will make your life much easier. Even if you're just trying to keep track of your papers, Zotero will help you search through your references, it even syncs between computers for free. Zotero does a good job of filling out references and allows you to edit details if you please. You can add your own PDFs to your Zotero account which is useful when you can't find a link to a PDF.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0.3).
Works as intended when copying an entire table and select cells if you're using keyboard shortcuts. Deleting unnecessary columns from an entire table is much faster than: 1.) manually entering information 2.) writing an Excel macro after exporting table data with Outwit. One downside is that TableTools2 doesn't always recognize tables in the sense that right-clicking doesn't show a menu, shortcuts still seem to work (http://www.optiforms.com/elliptical.htm for example). This is a great addon for quick data entry when using the text import wizard to paste HTML data does not produce a table. You can fully customize keyboard shortcuts. In my opinion the default Ctrl+Q and then holding left mouse button while dragging over cells of interest is most useful - although quirky at times, without changing selection method...This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.16).
I feel like this addon should be part of Firefox's default functionality. Tile Tabs allows the user to have the convenience of tabs with the reference functionality of windows, all while providing a greater viewing area and less hassle than windows. Awesome for referencing between webpages for comparison and formulas. Easy to use and non-intrusive, just drag your tabs next to each other and hit F12!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6.1).
Awesome add-on, it's dynamic you you can check to see what the compiled product looks like before sending. Unfortunately you need to disable gmail ad remover but ad-block can still be enabled. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.1.2).
