Not bad, but now and then in Yahoo email, it reverts to narrow style. But ads are still blocked.
When this happens, I disable and then reenable your add-on and it is back to normal. Also I can not post at the forum for bugs. Your system or web site, seems to think I am a Spammer (which is most assuredly not the case) ... Thank you
This is with Firefox 28.0 ... as of right now, not very happy with the latest look and feel of newest Firefox.
Basically an ok add-on, but I need help in setting it up properly. I use 1024 x 768 screen resolution. I want all my websites to be at 100% zoom level. The only site I need to be set at 90% is Mail.Yahoo.com (yahoo email site)
For some idiotic reason, if I leave that site at 100% the characters in the Inbox (for unread mails) are a very large Bold Face Font .. totally incorrect, but what else would I expect as Yahoo has messed up the email since the last major "new and improved yahoo email"
Works good, but I can not keep a pesky ad for IOS in Yahoo Email from appearing. I have tried all the options in RIP. The ad will go away, but comes back a little later.
Using prior version 1.2 on Firefox 28 .. not quite working as I expected. How do you add the sites ? Full url or partial, with or without wild cards ? ? I want all sites to use my Preferred Font with the sole exception being Yahoo Mail which needs to use it's own fonts to display the graphics properly. Otherwise not too bad.
Thanks for the tip. Will try that and see how it works. I tried moving the Document Font Toggle button up to the main menu bar. It went, but I am not sure if it will stay there next time I open Firefox. What is so changed in V2
that makes it only for FF29 ? Personally, those nitwits at Firefox should have put this option in the browser in the first place.
It does not look anything like it does with FF28 .. How do we fix it ? Does Classic Theme Restorer and Classic Toolbar Buttons need to be installed or should they not be in FF29 to make your previously great theme work properly in FF29 ? ? I sure hope you can get this working properly (hopefully in a few weeks or so) Keep up the great work.
It is not the Tabs on Bottom that I so concerned with as that is a simple fix. It is the look of the Buttons the way it is coded now, as compared to what it looks like in FF28
when using the same V4 of your addon.
Here is a link to a screenshot (do not worry about Google Toolbar, as I can work around that item)
Just updated to Firefox 28.0 yesterday and of course the browser say this theme does not work. But I reenabled it, restarted Firefox and it is working just fine in Firefox 28.0 ... hope you can do something for when Australis FF29 comes out. I and many others like the simple, clean FF03 theme. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
Working in Firefox 28.0 but it shows the Title in the status bar next to the little green jigsaw shaped piece. I do not see any options or any way to turn off that title. It is taking up space for no real reason. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.3). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Works fine in Firefox 27.0.1 and eliminates the need for other add ons, such as Download Status Bar
Only thing it needs is to add a "play a sound when download is completed option" .. otherwise it is very good.
Word has it that it will not work with the release of Firefox and Australis version .. I had someone who had the Beta build installed try it and it does not work correctly. Hopefully, the developer can fix it for those of us that prefer a simple, classic theme.
If not, I may not upgrade Firefox past V27
Not sure why they say it is not for Firefox 27, but I have V27 and this version theme installed and they are doing just fine with each other. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168).
This still works just fine in Firefox 23, even though the browser thinks it does not. And I agree, this should continue to be updated.
Addon compatability reporter works great, but it does not check for Themes compatability. It would be nice if it does. On my Firefox I use these 2 addon, which Firefox thinks do not work, yet they do just fine. Note: Google has stopped support for Firefox Toolbar about 1 year or so back.
Google Toolbar For Firefox 7.120110512W
Firefox 3 Theme For Firefox 4+ 2.0.1
On Firefox 17, Tab Mix Plus is stopping the Firefox Add Ons Manager from opening. Only way to get it to open is to open a New Tab and then select it. Please fix this. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.0.3).
It was easier to use before this unneeded upgrade. And please get rid of the Green Jigsaw piece in the Add On Toolbar. If anything, it should Only Show up when an Add On is detected as Incompatible. Also I have Google Toolbar and it is working. I found and put a Check Mark next to it on your little green piece, but Add Ons Manager still shows as Not Compatible.
Get this fixed, please. Same for the Firefox 3 Theme For Firefox 4+ ... it does work, but Add Ons Manager says it will not.
It has been disabled in the latest Firefox 16.0 browser
Please fix it ... thanks
Note: I just found this from Jon (about V 2.2.2 which does work)
I've updated Firefox to support the latest versions of Firefox. You can try it here:
The problem was a small race condition with how Forecastfox starts up. I'm not sure what in Firefox changed but we worked around it. Let me know how it works for you and I'll post it to AMO.
This addon is still very good, but it needs a built in function for changing Font Colors .. that would be a very nice addition. Perhaps for the next update by the developer. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.2). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Only thing this add on could really use, is a way to insert a Formatted Table in forums that use VBulletin. Otherwise, it works great. Perhaps they can add this feature. ThanksThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.2).
Not too bad, but Firefox 3.6.15 thinks it is not compatible.
Also it does not completely capture the wed page as the
web page is displayed. Mainly html formatting and images
are not properly captured.
