Tab Utilities

Thanks for the fast update Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Only had to live without my Tab Utilities for a single day after the FF17 update.

There is one minor glitch that's been around for a while, involving the DSpam web GUI. If, and ONLY if, Tab Utilities is running, clicking any function tab in the DSpam interface (preferences, quarantine, history, ...) opens that function in a new browser tab instead of switching to it in the same tab. I was reminded of this because yesterday, with Tab Utilities disabled after the FF update, DSpam-web was about the only thing that worked properly for once. This glitch doesn't actually break any functionality, everything in DSPam-web still works, it's basically a cosmetic issue, but it is an irritation.

Gradient Brushed Metal

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I like almost everything except this theme; it's clean, compact, attractive and readable. There's just one thing wrong with it: The changed personal bookmark bar is horribly hard to read. Bookmark menus (or folders if you prefer) are fine. If this theme just left the personal bookmark bar alone except for the new background, it would the the perfect functional Firefox 3 theme, as Modern Pinball was the perfect functional Firefox 1/2 theme.

Tab Mix Plus

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Tab Mix Plus now does, in a single extension, everything I want to be able to do to modify tab behavior. All told, it's enabled me to replace seven other extensions, a couple of them no longer maintained. The only problem is that it makes me choose between being able to use middle mouse button to close tabs or to paste URLs into windows.
