Personal Titlebar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A lightweight alternative to the bulky "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus". Together with "Firefox 4 UI Fixer" (for moving the statusbar and the menu button to reasonable places) it makes a compact elegant interface. The visual aspect can be improved by adding those lines to the userChrome.css file:
/* Change Title Bar color */
#titlebar-content {
background: #d4d0c8 !important;
}

/* Change title color and remove shadow */
#personal-titlebar tabs tab,
#personal-titlebar toolbarbutton,
#personal-titlebar toolbaritem > label,
#personal-titlebar menubar > menu {
text-shadow: none !important;
color: #000 !important;
}

mozImage

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The nicest image viewer I could find. Unfortunately it doesn't support unicode and I have many pictures with french names...

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.8).

Multi Smart Search

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on has two advantages over the current version of Context Search (0.4.6): It copies the searches to the searchbox history and it can open searches in background tabs (which was broken in Context Search for FF4). It has one disadvantage: not supporting the organization of engines into folders using Organize Search Engines. I hope this feature will be added soon and so I'll switch into using it.

Conform SearchBox(with automatic learning)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I would love if searches performed from webpages would be added to the searchbox history, like the searches made from it directly, so I can repeat them at will (I have it set to show the searches chronologically and often do different searches simultaneously).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1.2).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Context Search

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Unfortunately opening the tabs in the background was broken in Firefox4. I also hope for a new feature: "stay open menu" so you can middle-click several engines and search them one by one in new tabs without the context menu closing

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.6).

Organize Search Engines

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

essential add-on for any search addict!

Plain search

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I hope you will continue to develop Plain Search.
What important for me is three things:
1. Support for Organize Search Engines
2. Open the new tabs as background tabs: the breaking of this option in Context Search made me try your add-on
3. "stay open menu" so you can middle-click several engines and search them one by one without the context menu closing

Search Site

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The only site search I found that works well with Hebrew words.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9).

Download Flash and Video

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very good. Need a toolbar button instead of statusbar icon, to conform with FF4

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).

Download Statusbar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very convenient add-on.
Better list here all hidden options, like disabling the animation in about:config
downbar.function.useAnimation

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.8).

Titlebar Tweaks

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works on Firefox 4 and compatible with Hide Caption Titlebar Plus and Firefox 4 UI Fixer

Link Toggler

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very handy! what I miss is a toolbar button to toggle the links with conveniently, and also making the disabled links look like plain text so to know intuitively their state.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2).

enhanced findbar

Step towerd combining findbar to searchbar Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Now, that there is no word search for the searchbox (as both SearchWP and Searchbox Companion are not and won't be updated for FF4 soon), it seems to me this add-on could be the thing - if only the findbar would be eliminated and it's buttons become regular buttons that use the searchbox words for their operations. but in the meanwhile, maybe the sync could be done constantly and not on engine search only, so to be compatible with add-ons that synchronize the searchbox with websites' searchboxs (like Conform Searchbox)

OpenBook

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

works with FF4 even better then FF3

Conform SearchBox(with automatic learning)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Best add-on of it sort. Work perfectly for me on FF4, Win7-32bit

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1.2).

Do This Automatically

Just what I needed! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use it with my Greasemonkey script Torrentz Companion:
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/91645
and it makes it much faster to download the numerous torrents from the different sites.

Who stole my pictures?

On it's way to be all-in-one image search Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I'm waiting for the developer to add Cydral:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cydral-image-search-engine/
and Baidu:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/reverse-image-search/
An "open all in tabs" option to open all 5 search tabs at once,
and finally, the ability to submit local image file when viewed on the browser to all five (like file:///E:/WORK/Top.jpg).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.4).

Another nice reverse image search Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Nice addition to the other reverse image search plugins of Tineye, Gazopa, Yandex and Cydral).
I would have removed the Tineye search which has a better plugin of its own with advanced options, and make it a Baidu serach only, with favicon in the context menu and the context menu title "Search Image on Baidu" to match the other plugins.
I would also put the description and title in this page in English, to make it universal.

TinEye Reverse Image Search

The best of reverse image searches Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I love this service and the plugin.
It would be nice if the plugin could also automatically recognize and submit local files when viewed in the browser (e.g. file:///E:/pictures/Park.jpg).
Notice those similar plugins for other sites:

GazoPa Similar Image Search
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14423/

Cydral Image Search Engine
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/244885/

Who stole my pictures?
(for the Russian Yandex. It also adds TinEye search but without the advance options, so you better hide this using Menu Editor - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/710/)?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/266838/

Japanese one without name:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/264495/

Image Search Options
(adds search in several useless Manga databases, but it also includes TinEye and GazoPa and option to put all in a submenu, so it might be all-in-one plugin when further developed):
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/93451/

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).

Image Search Options

would be perfect with some additions: Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very well done. I would love to see those additions:

1. Adding those image reverse search sites:

BYO Image Search Labée Inc.
http://labs.ideeinc.com/upload/

Cydral
http://www.cydral.com/
that has this extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/244885/

Yandexhttp://images.yandex.ru/
that has this extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/266838/

There is also this one which I didn't test because it's in Japanese...
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/264495/

2. Maybe you can even add option to add customizable links to the list, for uploading images to more sites for reverse image search or other image manipulations!

3. Also, you might add the option to show the site's favicons in the context menu, like in the TinEye official extension and two of the others above:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8922/

4. Finally, how about adding "Open All in Tabs" at the bottom of the sub menu, to search the image in all sites with a single click, simil to what the Organize Search Engines extension does:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4565/

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.3.2).
