Swift Selection Search
Swiftly access your search engines in a popup panel when you select text in a webpage. Context menu also included!
Rated 4.8 out of 5Daniel Lobo
Add-on note
Makes it really easy to look up words and phrases from webpages in search engines and other reference works. Also for copying them to the clipboard, or opening URLs written as text.
When you select some text, a little box appears right next to the selection with icons of search engines and reference sites. Click the icon to open the selected text on that site — I had DuckDuckGo, Wikipedia, Oxford Dictionaries, IMDB, and OpenStreetMap icons in the top row. Underneath I had icons for copying the selection to the clipboard and opening the selection as a URL.10,919 users
easyGestures N
Easy to learn gestures through a highly customizable pie menu.
Rated 4.6 out of 5Nicolás González-Deleito
Add-on note
Provides a pie menu instead of the usual right-click menu, meaning you can activate common actions with a simple mouse gesture, yet you still have a UI to see what you're doing.
Useful for close tab, back, URL up, left/right tabs, and more — fully customizable, so you can pick which items appear (and where). And the regular right-click menu is still available with Ctrl+Right-Click.41 users
