Translate This! by Bradley Rosenfeld

Rated 4 out of 5 stars 101 reviews

87,015 users

Translate the whole entire page or just a selection using Google Translate.
Collector's Note I no longer use this. My translation needs are very basic. I use these three more efficient methods to translate pages or text within pages: 1. Bookmarklets 2. Flagfox addon 3. Simply go to the google translate page and use the "Add to Search bar" addon to right click in the translate box and Add it to your firefox search engines! Voila, now you can simply paste text in your firefox search bar and get its translation in a new tab. It becomes even better if you use the addon "Selected Search" too. With Selected Search, you don't need to paste your text in the search bar and press enter. If you have 'Selected Search' you only need to select the text you want to have translated and then press the button for google translate among the search engines that pop-up - a new tab with the translation pops up.

Lazarus: Form Recovery by Seth Wagoner

Rated 4 out of 5 stars 386 reviews

47,481 users

Never lose anything you type into a web form again! Lazarus securely auto-saves all forms as you type, so after a crash, server timeout, or whatever, you can go back to the form, right click, "recover form", and breathe a sigh of relief.
Collector's Note Make sure to change the settings to have the addon delete its stored data every 2 weeks or so, otherwise its database will bloat up and it will slow down firefox. Another alternative which I actually prefer over Lazarus is an addon called "Textarea Cache" which has no chance in hell to slow firefox no matter what the settings you choose. Though it has fewer features but they sufficient to prevent accidental loss of text you've already typed in an email. If you lose forms only occassionally, you should prefer Textarea Cache over Lazarus.

Image Zoom by Jason Adams

Rated 4 out of 5 stars 343 reviews

Adds zoom and rotation functionality for images...
Collector's Note Actually it should be called "Image zoom and rotate". You don't have to leave the page to zoom an image like with some other addons. It creates two context menu entries with submenus that allow you to zoom or rotate an image by a specified amount. The context manu entries show up only when you right click on an image. Smart!

Collector's Note The most powerful image saving addon out there. Loads of options. "Pterodactl" is a much lighter alternative that also has far fewer features.
