Saved Password Editor by Daniel Dawson

Rated 5 out of 5 stars 241 reviews

Adds the ability to create and edit entries in the password manager.
Collector's Note Managing usernames and password changes for email account logins, takes awhile to "convince" Thunderbird to "edit" password/username or login details. One has to delete a username/password combination and start from scratch to "train" Thunderbird to understand the updated username/password version. This is quite a time consuming and frustrating exercise, especially after failing for the 5th time. With the Saved Password Editor add-on, the process of managing username/password combinations is a breeze, just edit/delete already saved username/password. A handy add-on when you are frequently required to update your username/password list.

Master Password+ by V@no

Rated 4 out of 5 stars 139 reviews

Various enhancements for build-in "master password" (MP)
-Locks master security device on demand or after specified time
-Prompts for MP on browser startup
-Suppresses all or duplicate MP prompts
-Locks up entire application or individual windows
Collector's Note The 'Master Password+' extension is essential when one wants to restrict unauthorized access to Thunderbird. This kind of restriction becomes a necessity when Thunderbird's functions are extended to accommodate project management, general administrative tasks and client record keeping. Especially in case of the latter, it is necessary to secure email content from preying eyes. The 'Master Password+' extension "locks" Thunderbird when not actively uses after a predetermined period of time. This sometimes is a bit of a schlep when - e.g. compiling documents from email content - because 'Master Password+' locks Thunderbird down and you have to login to continue using Thunderbird. But it is a small price to pay for keeping sensitive email contents private.

Telephone Message by Wesley Computers

Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10 reviews

147 users

Quickly and easy way to inform someone of a missed call. This addon allows you to email the person your passing the message onto, collecting their email address from your address book, with a collection of ready made messages.
Collector's Note The 'Telephone Message' extension doesn't add real functional value to Thunderbird. It is only a missed call form template which, on completion, will assist in compiling an email that can be send with details pertaining the missed call. Handy in the sense that it makes compiling and sending "missed call" details less of a nuisance. 'Telephone Message' isn't "fully" automated, one has to manually close (cancel) the dialogue box when the task is completed. Other than that, quite useful at times.
