About this Add-on
Yubikey Master Password for Firefox is an extension that can recognize Yubikey one time password in
dialog window asking for user's master password. When detected OTP is valid real master password
is downloaded from Yubikey Master Password server.
To run this extension you have to:
- own Yubikey
- set up your own Yubikey Master Password server or use one that already exist and you do trust it
- set up variables in preferences branch "extensions.yubikey-mp" accessible via about:config
Description of preferences:
- extensions.yubikey-mp.server contains address of Yubikey Master Password server. For example: my-own-yubikey-mp.appspot.com or if you have your own domain example.com
- extensions.yubikey-mp.mpid identifies which password to use. Set to any value that corresponds with pid variable on the server
