Exactly what I was looking for. Makes embedded videos appear as a preview image that opens in YouTube, the same way they do in Chrome.

There's no way it could be improved - thanks very much

No longer works Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Hasn't worked for a few weeks now, supposedly since a Firefox update. Please fix it, because this is one of the best add-ons ever, when it's working!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.5.1-signed).

Sorry, dave. Are you using it of firefox mobile? If so you are probably being affected by this issue https://github.com/kevincox/youtube-e2l/issues/10 which is due to a firefox bug. The bug is linked in the issue and the best I can do is wait for a firefox patch.

If it isn't that issue feel free to open an issue on my issue tracker so that I can look into it.

Cheers,
Kevin

Update needed Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love the app but it does not work since the YouTube app was updated and changed its theme.

Thanks for the report, if you open an issue in our tracker we can work together to hunt it down.

Works great except when video is no longer available or passworded or Vevo type (have to go to Youtube to see the video). You just get big black image and you have to guess if this some leftover from adblockers or something else. Please fix it.

perfect app Rated 5 out of 5 stars

As title, it's perfect, works like a charm, but, a little issue with the last 1.9.1 version.. i'm using firefox BETA (23.x) and it's impossible to install that mod.. the 1.9.0 is installable without any problem.

I'm on note2 with jb 4.1.2

Any idea?

That's strange as Mozilla is packaging the addon and I got an email from Mozilla saying that the version was bumped. Try again and if it is not working open a ticket at https://github.com/kevincox/youtube-e2l/issues.

Please don't reply here as I won't be notified.

useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

i use it to watch those little embedded videos in full screen TV mode with help of the userscript and also in VLC player with the help of "Open With" addon

Good Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good addon. Exactly what I was looking for. Is it possible to convert the embed video into just a simple URL instead of a thumbnail? If you can add this feature it'll be great.

It is definitely possible but there a a few things to figure out. If you could open a bug report on out github page (see the support link) then we can get it implemented.

Awesome App! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Allows you to have YouTube videos embedded on sites as HTML 5 videos. Awesome for redditors!
