Not working in FF Dev Edition 42.0a2 (2015-08-17) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I am on Linux, disabled all my other add-ons, and this add-on did not seem to work. The bookmarklet works fine. I just would like to have the right-click functionality. I am not sure if this add-on has a problem with the new versions of FF Dev Edition, or it is incompatible with other add-ons, but not working for me. I am still giving four stars though because I have used it for years and it is a great extension. I hope it gets an update soon.

Question for a non coder Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I see stellar reviews from people who WRITE codes, but does it decode files so a normal person can read them? lol
I'll open a NotePad/ScratchPad, xml, dll, & most of the rest of my files, but I only see jibberish.
I've fought with format/edit options trying to "fix" said documents until I was ready to throw my laptop at the wall.
Feels like I'm trying to solve a Rubix cube with no cheat option to peel the stickers off.
If this does NOT decode documents, can SOMEONE point me in the direction of an idiot proof one? lol (I'm currently running FireFox 37)

Because addon hasn't dark scheme but only two light schemes I created nightly version. I hope that license isn't in conflict.

i was just writing an involved php page.
it was not 'showing' anything in browser.
i was going crazy looking a 'code' trying to figure out why,. looked at 'page source' and all the text seemed to be there. tried forcing 'black' text to see if it had changed to white, even. Nope.
then I remembered installing this addon.
3, 4, 5 seconds... So obvious. I was missing a lessthan "<" on the freaking close title..
How Cool.

Outstanding Developer Tool Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I consider View Source Chart to be an absolutely necessary tool in my dev toolkit. It allows you to truly understand the site's structure and relationships between its disparate parts. And if you're a "visual" type person, View Source Chart's UI will help you digest a site's element structure more thoroughly and quickly than a standard tree-style source presentation.

Awesome and very helpful! It would be nice if you could also edit the source code.

I agree. Unfortunately I don't have the resources or skill sets to take it to the next level. Contact me through if you (or anyone else) have any ideas.

Oh... so *that's* why there's a wrapper placed there Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A must have, especially when working with code that you didn't write yourself. If you ever had to plow through the work of someone who suffered from a chronic case of 'projectile sourcecode vomiting' or (god help you) grandma used frontpage to build a website and wants you to 'stop making it look weird', then you will definitly appreciate this addon.

Fantastic add-on. I spent several months working with a designer and developer on the website redesign at the museum I work for - this tool made the process infinitely easier.

Rather than having to search through the regular "view source" textfile for the one needle in the code haystack to see what's going on, this cool little add-on breaks it down into color blocks, making it easy to find what you're looking for - a must for a very visual person like me.

Another plus is that as someone with a fairly rudimentary grasp of HTML, it makes learning how the structure of the page works easier too.

Win-win. One of my personal "Must Have" add-ons.
