End-User License Agreement
The Camelizer - Amazon Price Tracker requires that you accept the following End-User License Agreement before installation can proceed:
This add-on does the following when you view a page on a supported retailer's site:
1) Sends the product ID, product URL, and add-on version number to our server.
2) Receives the product's price history data from our server.
3) Loads the price history data into the Camelizer area.
We do not collect any of your personal information, nor do we attempt to match sales to Firefox add-on product views or anything of that nature. The add-on does not even run on HTTPS pages, so during checkout and other sensitive activities, Camelizer isn't watching.
As noted in the developer comments section, the Camelizer is supported by the Amazon affiliate program. That means we get a small referral fee from Amazon when you buy something on their site via ours. As our extension doesn't modify the retailer site in any way, you must first visit our site and click a "Buy" button for us to get the affiliate commission. It's a win-win situation because such links in no way affect your Amazon experience; your prices stay the same, you get the Camelizer charts, and we can afford to pay for the servers and stuff it takes to provide them to you.
Some Camel sites may also make use of Commission Junction's affiliate program, which utilizes cookies. Our extensions do not set these cookies themselves, but visiting certain retailer sites through our affiliate links may set them, depending on your browser settings.
If you are not comfortable with the sound of any of these things, please do not install this add-on.
