Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Tab Utilities is a great add-on. I normally don't contribute to sites (the reason is they can make bad judgements like Microsoft and Mozilla Firefox), but, in the past, I did with Tab Utilities. This shows in my books it a great add-on, and I hope they continue to be so.
The problem is that some programs, like Microsoft and Mozilla Firefox has lost sight of the users and their desires, and are now in business for themselves; which is a death knell for any business.
Microsoft with version 7 deleted some features that were in X P version that upset many people. Such as being able to place pictures in a certain order that one desires. This they deleted. They, also, took away the ability to have animated pictures (like the planets of the solar system orbiting around the sun, or 2 stars orbiting each other) (these 2 things are necessary and great for photographers and scientists). Then they added to it with version 8, where those that I know who are military computer experts (way above my level) have said that one almost needs to learn a new system to run, and irritated many of them.
With Firefox, after version 28, they ceased to listen to the users of their program (or at least seems to have). Many liked the option of choosing where the (work) tab bar would be; with most desiring it right on top of the window. However, Firefox has made it so that it is clear at the top, over the location bar (where you type in the addresses). This a great deal of people dislike; especially in the past Firefox gave them the option of where they wanted it. Also, the star (favorites) that was in the location bar they placed outside the location bar and the color at the top is such that it masks the names in the tabs making them hard to read. Both of these, also, upsets people with Firefox. All these to some degree can be corrected by an add-on (it still doesn't look quite right, but it will do). This add-on has some minor compatibility issues with Tab Utilities and causes some minor problems.
Many people have been posting many negative comments on Firefox on the internet and in Firefox feedback area. Yet, Firefox has not deemed to include this things in the new versions, as they did and could again. And because of this many are leaving Firefox for other browsers.
I have had people that I, in the past, introduced to Firefox, who have become dissatisfied with Firefox who advised me to leave Firefox as they have, and get a different browser. Some, are not downloading the new versions, but are keeping an older version.
Now I have seen in Firefox version 37.0.1 and 37.0.2 that when you install these versions, during a compatibility check, they tell you they are disabling Tab Utilities due to compatibility issues and that there is no newer versions available.
The problem lies with Firefox, who have lost touch with the customer and their desires, and are self-serving.
I, and others, can only hope for 2 things: 1. Firefox will start listening to their users and adjust their program's new version to their desires. 2. That Tab Utilities will come up with a new version that is compatible with Firefox's new versions, and, yet, will maintain the quality of the program that people love and use.

An essential tool, excellent! :)
I was missing it since FF updated itself lately. One workaround is to install the current beta from the Github repo, e.g. via GitHub Extension Installer... 1.6pre21 Works fine with FF 37.0.2
Dealbreaker addon which breaks everything Rated 3 out of 5 stars
My last review said to use the beta/developer edition. Boy, was I wrong. This formerly dealbreaking addon now breaks everything to a point where Firefox wont function correctly. I couldn't figure out what it was at first, but apparently all problems ceased to exist as soon as I disabled this addon. Really upsets me as I rely on many of the addon's functions in order to browse the web at all. They really are essential things & I'm pretty pissed at Mozilla's cavalier attitude of laziness, where they think they can just continue removing functions & options because "someone will make an addon for that". That's the worst developer laziness I've ever seen. They cannot put the burden on users to develop addons just to allow them to use the most basic of features. It's really silly to me that there's no built-in function of Firefox that allows you to control what happens when you click a link (mostly, how it opens), and importantly, a tab counter you can place anywhere. (especially one you can click & pull up a list of your current tabs in).
Anyways, I don't blame the developer for not being able to maintain this as much, because they have a life & it's not their job, and I'm sure they don't exactly make money from it. It's Mozilla's job to give us features like these. Features other browsers have no problem implementing. For that, I wanted to make sure to leave a few stars, because until now it's been the perfect addon. It was so perfect that I am now miserable without it! So please fix it, ithinc. I will even contribute some $$ if that's what it takes, and I don't have much to begin with. That's how important it is to me.
Mozilla: If you're going to rely on individual users to develop addons to complete basic functionality that your browser should have, then stop updating the browser so often & breaking compatibility, and stop combining security updates with full browser updates. Also stop being idiots & give people a good way to revert an update, so that if things don't work, they aren't left completely screwed because you didn't care about the developers of their most important addons!

I love (NEED!) this add-on but when FF 37.0.1 arrived. FF stopped opening (even though it was listed on Processes of the Task Manager - Windows 7 Home Premium). By a process of elimination under Safe Mode, I found this was the extension causing the problem. I tried installing the newer versions but no change. This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Does more than only its job Rated 2 out of 5 stars
- conflicts with other addons
- with addon, the fox only better, tab utility shows window frame (window title bar) that was removed with the fox only better addon
- conflicts with addon tabkit2 (maybe also all in one sidebar); switch is replaced and tree tab resize ability is disturbed
Breaks Address Bar Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This add-on breaks the address bar. That's definitely a showstopper. Don't install this, unless you can live without the address bar.
Великоллепное дополнение, не могу без него работать! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

BREAKS "ENTER" to visit site in address bar - CONFIRMED !!!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars
was greatly annoyed by this behavior and disabled all extensions one by one until the last one, Tab Utilities, causes it.
THIS IS A HORRIBLE BUG and it just wasted a couple of hours of my life. I'm gonna look for a replacement extension - YES ME TOO ... I love this addon but this BUG isreally annoying and it's there for months.
FIX IT or uninstall
FF35b6, all the problems are still there... :( Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I'll keep an eye to this great addon hoping that all these huge problems will be fixed soon...
Agree with soulrebelno1... Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I was looking for an alternative to T.Mix+ but I agree with soulrebelno1: too many problems currently with TU ... The same concerns he has and more. For example, the fact that when you close a pinned tab, there is a gap as "empty tab" and it still adds even same closing Firefox ... I leave TU but I keep an eye hoping to come back soon ..
Not Working Properly And No help File. Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I've tried this add-on a few times because I wanted the: "Tab Stacking like Opera" feature. Opera's tab stacking feature is a brilliant idea and should be built-in to Firefox by default. Just drag and drop tabs on to each other to create a stack: then collapse or restore the stack; group like tabs; bookmark the tab links or delete the tabs. It's a simple and intuitive solution to tabitis! Sadly, this feature simply does not work. I've look at the "Help and FAQs" on GitHub, but, as usual, there's no proper help file. I found an entry called: 'Tab Stacking options', great, I thought! I looked at the page and it just has coding entries like this: pref("extensions.tabutils.autoStack", false); ... how the hell does that help your average end-user, really? If you are not aware these options are turned on and off in Firefox's about:config settings page; obviously, the programer thinks all end-users know about this feature and how to use it safely. The real reason there is no proper help file is that the programmer was just too lazy to write one up. I've worked with loads of them; just code, code, code - "I'll write one up later". They never do, or, usually it's a very poor after thought and no help whatsoever. There are other options that don't work as well, such as, Shift+Tab. Back to trusty old Tab Mix Plus I'm afraid, maybe one day ... uninstalled.
Great, but ... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
My most essential addon, but the "fixed" version from github referenced here didn't help me with the Urlbar problem. On a blank tab, there's still no reaction when I enter something in the address bar. However, after clickinga bookmark to open a new tab, I can use the Urlbar again... FF version 34.0.5.
