Very nice add-on. I did find one issue though. If you type an address and, as it loads, try to open a new tab (edit: I just realized, not just open a new tab, but change the focus), the new tab interrupts it from loading at all.

Also some more options would be nice (preferences panel?) like maximum number of new tabs and stuff like that.

Lastly, one of the more annoying things I see when I browse are tabs that are opened from downloads. If you could find a way to kill these and still have the request go through, that would be amazing.

Overall, very nice, simple add-on that does its job very well :D

Yeah those tabs left behind by downloads annoy me too! I'm thinking of making a new add-on that lets you limit sites other than new tab as well. I'll definitely include that blank download suggestion if/when I get around to it.

A good addon. This is the only addon that does what it does. But, I think it can be improved further if some of the following ideas are incorporated:
(1) Close new tabs after a certain amount of time, say 15s, 30s, 1 min, 2min etc..
(2) Close newtabs only when the number of tabs exceeds x i.e 10 tabs, 20 tabs and so on.
(3) Close newtab only if you have switched to it twice and done nothing.

If the developer somehow manages to use all of these ideas, this will become an irresistible addon.
