Works as intended Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I really don't understand why I need an add-on for this feature to be in Thunderbird! :P
Not bad Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Icon in tray is blured.
minimize on close setting does nothing, it just always closes

Два года с ней мучился, думал дело в мозилле, постоянные зависание, долго ждать пока развернется на весь экран. Отключил, поставил альтернативную программу. Теперь понял сколько нервов мне стояла эта глючная прога
Not Working on Linux Mint Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Not working on Linux Mint 18, FF 49
Excellent, only one little thing.... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This works wonderfully, just like I wish it would. The only thing is that when FF is minimized in the tray and I click the program icon in the taskbar, a new window opens. Would it be possible to open the minimized instance in the system tray instead of a new windows when clicking on the taskbar icon?
Simplesmente ótimo! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
O desenvolvedor está de parabéns, a extensão cumpre com imensa facilidade o que promete. Fazia tempo que eu me perguntava por algo assim, e numa rápida busca encontrei. Agora consigo manter mais limpa minha área de trabalho. Obrigado!

Extension on Ubuntu & Gnome 3 Linux. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Cool extension for Firefox and Thunderbird. But:
- On Linux (Ubuntu & Fedora Gnome 3) I don't see Icon con system tray (Although Thunderbird and Firefox still run)
- On Windows 10, it is not only 1 icon if have more than 1 Windows, please add feature for only 1 icon on system tray, and Exit items for each windows when right click on the icon.
Essential add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thank you for "reviving" the MinimizeToTray add-on ;-)
The add-on works perfectly for me. It's highly useful and convenient.
I use only two add-ons with Thunderbird, and this is one of them.
I've been using it in the past under Windows and currently under Linux Mint.
A special thanks for the quick latest update to 1.3.2:
Even though not mentioned it the changelog, it also fixed a bug for me:
Clicking the tray icon to restore the application window recently stopped working , but now works again like it did before!
Now perfect (v.1.3.2) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I sugesst a plus new function: one-click Restore Window
That should be possible already, see preferences of the add-on
Perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Just as expected and been using it on both Thunderbird and firefox for years (during its relevant reincarnations for version compatibility)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed.1-signed).
Parfait !! (Thunderbird 45) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Just what i was searching for Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks a lot for this great little Add-On. TB now is one step further to be the perfect Mail-Application for me! Btw: Is it possible to build an extension to integrate TB into Action-Center in Win10? Or is an add-on already existing out there? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed.1-signed).
F9 keyboard shortcut broken in TB 45 Rated 3 out of 5 stars
As per the title, everything works in TB 45 except the keyboard shortcut. In fact, clicking "File menu > Minimize to tray" doeesn't work either. It amazes me that Thunderbird doesn't have this functionality built-in yet. If I remember rightly earlier versions used to have it, yes/no? Every other email client has it. It's 2016. It's time. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed.1-signed).
not working in Thunderbird 46 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
surprisingly F9 minimize to tray works, however Close/Minimize have no effect. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (220.127.116.11-signed.1-signed).
OK for me in Thunderbird 45 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
After installing and setting, it works fine both for iconifying and closing. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed.1-signed).
Working for me in Thunderbird 45 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I'm on a Windows machine. On versions 38 and below, the utility RBTray (available on SourceForge) worked to minimize Thunderbird to the tray. With the upgrade to version 45 it stopped.
MinimizeToTray works with Thunderbird 45. After you install the Add-on, go to its options. In Minimize to tray, I have 'When minimizing' selected. When I minimize Thunderbird, it properly goes down to the system tray.
