Very useful and versatile Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Lots of options to configure it as you need. Works as advertised, and then some.

not really blocking Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Not really blocking just redirecting. Still lots of blank tabs* to close instead of closing the ad sites

* Or what ever you set the url to show instead of blocked page to

Helpful Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I have this addon installed at work, it does wonders to my productivity. I have this bug though, for some reason it blocks websites half hour too early (I had it set 8am to 4pm, but it starts blocking at 7:30am). I had to adjust the settings for that.

Really helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks to that I spend less time on Facebook :P

Excellent! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's free, has lots of options and customisation, and does exactly what it says on the tin. Highly recommended!

Totally helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on is exactly what I am finding to control myself from wasting time on social networks. It is easy to specify the settings to meet your wish. Many choices of control setting can be created.

This add-on is great. It'd be even better if it worked in Android though.

Just amazing.

Brilliant! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on has saved me from wasting hours on Facebook and the like. I set mine so I can have 6 minutes per hour on time-wasting sites. That's enough to change the habit. I'm only exaggerating a little bit if I say it has changed my life :)

My previous review was wrong Rated 5 out of 5 stars

There is a feature to block embed videos. Still haven't found a lockdown, but there is a delay feature which delays access to site for N seconds, so I don't need a lockdown, I guess.

Lockdown

Thanks for the review! There is a lockdown option in the LeechBlock menu (right-click on a web page to get the context menu, or add the LeechBlock button to a toolbar).

Great stuff Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Simple to set up, but all the flexibility and customization you could need.

Finally, a proper URL blocker Rated 5 out of 5 stars

LeechBlock is excellent. Once you have it set correctly, you can block problem sites and lock yourself out. It's the only appropriate solution for serious procrastinators.

The App of Serious Rescue Rated 5 out of 5 stars

New users my have a bit of trouble getting the app to work right the first time, but I'll be darned if it hasn't saved me from certain assignment failure.

It's also nice to know that if I start doing that thing where I circumvent it on my browser, I can click a few buttons and make myself stop; even if it can't stop me from procrastinating using other browsers.

I have found this app to be best for short-term use, to help me focus for big assignments and the end of semesters, as opposed to all the time; which causes me to change the browser I use (Yeah yeah, I know.) It even has a feature for me to put a site directly in a blocklist if I'm spending too much time on it, and another feature for if I need to have access to one section of a site while continuing to lock myself out of others.

Worthy idea Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't use it too often but it is useful nevertheless. Basically I set it to redirect to codefights website whenever I load facebook and simply display 'blocked' page when using quora in working hours. Given the no. of 5 star ratings, I think Firefox should include this by default.
