Lazarus is dying Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have replaced Lazarus as my default form recovery tool with Textarea. I don't know if it is my computer or what, but, Lazarus is not reliable in saving text anymore. I lost a few lengthy comments on line before I searched for another recovery tool, and found after downloading the Textarea tool that it is more reliable on my laptop than Lazarus.

STILL WORKS WITH JIRA Rated 5 out of 5 stars

...And that's what's important to me. JIRA has a bad habit of blanking forms at inopportune times, but Lazarus has saved me more than once. This still works on most sites I use.

DOES NOT WORK WITH FACEBOOK Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Don't know who's fault it is, but for a lot of people, makes it useless. Not everyone blogs or writes long essays on a web page. It's a PITA, but If it matters, I do it in Word. I think self driving cars will be here before a usable internet ever arrives.

After years of loving this add on and it used to work on Facebook, it no longer pops up when I need to revive a document that I spent 2 hours writing. It's gone and Lazarus was no where to be found when right clicked. I was FURIOUS when I lost an entire document on Facebook. Come on people, FB is one of the most used platforms on earth and you can't get Lazarus to work there? Ridiculous.

Funktioniert leider nicht auf allen Seiten! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Aber wenn es funktioniert, dann funktioniert es perfekt!

Nice Utility, be good to get it out of the status bar Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Would be helpful if it could be in the standard addons bar, instead of requiring status 4 evar.

Lazarus just saved about 1 h of my life Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great extension. Works even in custom fields where contextual menu is overridden. This is one great tool !

Works perfect, saved me many times. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

You navigate out of web form or even close Firefox accidentaly? Just return back to the form, mouse right click to the form field and select Lazarus remembered text to recover.
Super extension. Thanks

No updates, doesn't work on some sites Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great addon but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to report sites that it doesn't work on in order to get it updated to work on those sites.

Save me big time today Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Had spent probably two hours filling out some detailed info in a text box, even saved the info to TXT file part the way through just in-case, well sure enough firefox started to lag and crash. Lazarus had all my info when I started back up! Setup an account here just to leave this review!

Forced donation Rated 1 out of 5 stars

After one week it doesnt work!its silly

Why the project is abandoned? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Why? It work discretely yet, but on some site like Youtube, it doesn't work anymore. Furthermore the Lazarus home page no longer opens

Works in Pale Moon 26.2.2 (mostly) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It doesn't work on YouTube comments, Facebook posts and comments, or Yahoo discussion forum posts, which is IRRITATING. I would switch to a better product, if they supported those sites, but I don't know of any.

Works for me! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I wonder why the recent comments are so negative.

The add-on still works beautifully for me (Firefox 46.0.1).
It is very helpful when one experiences an unreliable connection, a browser crash or a site bug!

if only it could resurrect itself Rated 1 out of 5 stars

stop rating this broken addon 5 stars on nostalgia and wishful thinking alone, it doesn't work and likely never will since the developer fell into a black-hole.

The irony being, Lazarus now more popular in death than it ever was when it actually worked. The paranoid fanatics always dogged this extension for being a "security" risk blah blah, but all that was a long time ago.

@SierraCircle- did you too fall into a black-hole? its been almost a year since you mentioned taking over this project and would seem there will be no resurrection for Lazarus.

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Like others have said, it now basically does nothing but claim it's doing a good job and prompt me to donate to a site that never loads. Occasionally it'll bring back a text block or form, but I just spent hours on a text block that Lazarus claims to have saved, but it's refusing to actually bring it back. This needs to be fixed pronto or I'll be switching to another extension.

Not working at YouTube Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Addon do not working at YouTube.

Formerly 5* fantastic. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This is for the 28 April 2016 update
Refuses to do anything except prompt me to donate, but then will not connect to web site to do so.
Therefore totally useless.

I unclicked "replace credit card numbers" Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Because then it will NOT replace all my numbers with 00000. For example EAN barcode numbers. An EAN-13 barcode (originally European Article Number) is a 13 digit (12 data and 1 check) barcoding standard. // Too bad I do not know a way to disable this addon for FloatNotes (=another Firefox addon), Facebook Messenger, Facebook, Google Search, Iherb, Amazon, ebay.... I have to manually delete some data to shrink the database.

Once a great addon Rated 1 out of 5 stars

But now has turned into a shill / scam that constantly asks for donations and, if you don't, it just erases every stored data !
I now use and recommend "Form History Control" which is much more configurable and doesn't nag you constantly with donations requests.
