Works great Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Adds button to collapse Hacker News comments. This is what I want from it.
Uh Oh! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
HN seems to have broken this indispensable add-on. Please, oh please, look into it and see if it can be fixed. I just can't go on without it. :-)
Works so well, you forget you're using it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been using this plugin for a while now and have been very happy with it. As the title states, it just works to make HN better.
One thing I've run into a few times recently is that when viewing a second page of replies for a post the plugin no longer adds the collapse functionality.
For example view this post when logged in: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=6431573
..then click the "More" at the bottom.
Works as intended Rated 5 out of 5 stars
In it's current incarnation this extension works great. They say they are going to add more to it to make it a "Suite" but I'm very happy with just the ability to collapse threads. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (initial.rev20.1-signed).
Helpful for HN visitors Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The extension works flawlessly and adds button to collapse Hacker News comments. If you visit ycombinator news site, then you should give it a try.
It helped me in transitioning from Chrome to Firefox. Chrome indeed has several extensions that improve your experience at Hacker News. At the time of this writing, Firefox has only one extension, HN Utility Suite, that, offers collapsible comments at HN.
Rahul, you have titled this extension as "Suite". Do you plan to add more features to it? If so, please consider adding keyboard navigation support and custom CSS files.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I did intend it to be more than just comment collapsing, but in true HN style, wanted to release just a minimum viable add-on. I'll definitely look at adding keyboard shortcuts and custom CSS.
