Why was FireStorage Plus! created?
As a developer I was often in the need to output the next generation browser storages such as localStorage and sessionStorage.
While there is some limited support in the current version of Firebug ( a tool which is used by almost all developers) I found it lacking for the information and accessibility I needed.
I thus wrote a Firebug extension which is officially recognized by the Firebug creators and enhances the usability of managing web storage greatly.
What's next for FireStorage Plus!
Next versions will include in order of importance:
* on install no Firefox restart
* live updates of the information when the site changes a value. (currently panel switch is needed)
* real time adding, editing and deleting of this information.
* indexedDB support
