Excellent job of updating the Firefox 2 theme for Firefox 29.0 with the Australis UI. I only updated to Firefox 29.0 because I was able to restore the old UI with the Classic Theme Restorer (v1.1.8) and Firefox 2, the theme, reloaded 1.0.7.

However, I do have one question. The Classic Theme Restorer extension has been updated to version 1.2.0. Unfortunately, one of the changes made in Classic Theme Restorer was new item and toolbar IDs requested by Mozilla editors. Will Firefox 2, the theme, reloaded, be updated to work with the latest version of Classic Theme Restorer? I sure hope so!!!

As has been said before, the theme will NOT be compatible with Classic Theme Restorer because the CTR buttosn are NOT the same as the original buttons thus cannot be styled properly by themes. I will be releasing my own set of back/forward/stop/reload/home/go/buttons soon.

Finally for Australis! Some bugs... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

We finally got this theme available for Australis!

I found some problems:
1. Right part of Customize screen (about:customizing) is not displayed properly.
2. Location bar is too big (I think it's because of a Stop/Refresh button. If you're working on an add-on that will put Stop and Refresh buttons out, maybe you can help yourself with an extension Classic Theme Restorer.)
3. The right part of a Bookmarks button doesn't work.
4. Downloads and Bookmarks buttons are too small.
5. Missing icon for Developers button.

On Development Channel, there is still version 1.0.6b1. Don't forget updating it, or remove it.

This user has a previous review of this add-on.

1. Will be fixed in the next update
2. Got a screenshot? If you're talking about the absence of the reload/stop buttons, i'm working on that.
3. The menu part? Works for me.
4. A huge icon next to the small bookmark star just looks bad.
5. Fixed in next update

About the Dev Channel, updating tomorrow.

FireFox 3 Theme Reloaded? "Go!" Button too much on the right Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi,

nice theme!

Bug/Flaw: The "Go!" button for web adresses is too much on the right! It collides with the search bar: http://abload.de/img/themepdull.jpg

Could you also make a FireFox 3 Theme Reloaded please?
Would be great!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.6).

What extensions are you using? The dropmarker (down triangle icon) should always be visible in the urlbar, unless some theme removed that. Can you tell me what add-ons you're using? I might be able to fix it in the next update ;-)

About Firefox 3, read my reply to the other user's review.

The "Clear List" Button on the Downloads page Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Once again- excellent theme- thanks. The downloads page retains the layout of the default firefox theme which I believe has a major flaw. The "clear list" button is directly above the windows ''start' button on page bottom left.. One errant click causes loss of the download list.
It is too easy of a mistake to make and I am wondering if you could move it elsewhere on the page for this theme. A little more 'out of the way'(?)

As far as i know, moving the button isn't possible, but i think I could give it a different styling. I'm a bit busy IRL, but i'll try to look into it soon ;-)

Good theme. But why the buttons in old style (Win7)? Fix it please. And addon bar is big.
I install original browser Firefox 2 on Windows 7. There have been a modern style (selection) buttons.

Buttons?

The buttons won't be changed because this is how it was in Firefox 2.
Add-on bar will be fixed soon. Using NoScript? Blame NoScript, it broke the add-on bar.

Very nice theme! Incredible job on the detail... really looks like Firefox 2!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.5).

Thanks for your review, Haidawe!
The reason it really looks like Firefox 2 is because this theme uses 95% of the original files and styles, the remaining 5 percent are (mostly) optimizations done to keep the theme compatible with the newest version of Firefox.
Glad to see there are still people who use (and love) the theme ^_^

I can finally use Firefox without hating it again! Thank you!

Australis Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Any chance you'll be updating with the dreaded Australis? It's already broke in the latest UX and probably will be when it lands in the next nightly.

Australis-compatible version (1.0.7) out! Please check the versions page! (You might need to re-enable the title bar on Windows 7/8)

Outstanding! Thank you for fixing this, the standard icons on Firefox are cheap nothings, no personality! Love your designs!

A little bug... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

There's still a little bug in it. When finishing a download the download window title simply becomes blank, the "Download" title dissappears leaving literally nothing.... not that it bothers me a lot, but it just looks cheesy. Using native ToolKitUI.

I really like this theme, but unfortunately i can't click the tabs with the pointer at the highest point of the screen when the tabs are in the title bar.

I like this theme very much, i hate when mozilla push me to use his default design. Firefox is great but only when we can setup what we need not what we must get. Mozilla stop to work like M$. Take a look what users are using, take a look what theme they're using (1.04 reloaded is on first page on retro tab) and then make upgrades. Now i have to use disable compatibility check addon to use my fav theme.

I really love this theme. Unfortunately, though it says it's compatible with FireFox 20.0, FireFox disagrees and won't let it install.

Ik haal deze steeds weer terug. Zo net leek het er op dat er een incompatibiliteit met de vorige update was maar dat was gelukkig van korte duur. Prima werk!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2).

Bedankt voor je review! Het duurde inderdaad bij de release van Firefox 16 iets langer, maar dat kwam voornamelijk omdat het even duurde voordat de update 'live' stond :-)

Could you make the add-on bar narrower when people are using status-4-eva?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).

I don't fully understand your question. Is the add-on bar too tall (when Status4Evar is enabled/active)? Please describe it in further detail on the add-on's project page, so that I can help you out.

needs some work Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I prefer this theme over all available others, but there is at least one long-time bug. With the default theme in FF5, 6, 7, and 8, mouse cursor 'hover' over a URL will display the web address with a white background. For that small text block, the web page text is thus hidden, but URL text is readable. If I choose the 'Reloaded' theme, the same 'hover' will display the web address with a clear background, thus over-writing web page text and rendering the URL and a small portion of web page text mostly unreadable. To see the URL text, I need to scroll up or down slightly until the displayed URL text is over a blank spot on that web site.

Fixed

Thanks for reporting this bug, it has been fixed in version 0.9.9.

for Firefox 4+, go to the bottom of the page and click on "Development Channel". Sooo nice to be able to upgrade to Firefox 7. I had been waiting for this theme to support my switch because I hate everything FF have done with the interface since 2.

Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou
