Would you please consider supporting Pale Moon?
The last compatible version is 8.3.1
I am posting 5-stars because it's a great add-on!
Extremely slow and crashes a ton. Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Startup of firefox has gotten really, really bad with this installed. Also, causes firefox to freeze for hours when the backup is running because its scripts are constantly running far too long so much that I get notification boxes every step of the "backup" which causes firefox to crash and so never completely backs up. I stopped using this years and years ago for the same reason, I had just hoped it would be fixed in between now and then. Too bad it didn't, since it's still a nice idea.
Saved my life Rated 5 out of 5 stars
FIrefox Sync didn't save my extras and configurations but I managed to access and old computer with the most of the addons I had. It did work, it even saved the scripts from Greasemonkey that I tought would be lost.

Very good add-on Rated 4 out of 5 stars
A very good add-on, which is becoming a must have.
I would, however, bet the developer to consider the last two reviews, both of which I agree with.
The options box displays strangely (Mac Mavericks, FF 45), and woud love, love for a Thunderbird version of FEBE and its companions.
Regardless, many thanks for your efforts. Very fine piece of work.
Could you upload a picture of how the options are displayed in a post on the support forum?

Translation into Russian and Ukrainian languages are not comprehensive.
I want to offer a complete translation of Russian and Ukrainian locale for your extensions FEBE.
For some reason I was not able to register on babelzilla.org.
Always I get the same answer: Registration failed. Something is wrong with your supplied details. Please remember that we do not accept temporary email addresses.
If you're interested, I attach a files locales to this message.
P.S. Forum FEBE does not work.
Home Page has not been updated to version 8.8.1.
In folder "locale" FEBE there is some confusion. The uk-UA folder (Ukrainian locale) contains files of the Bulgarian language.
I sent you a similar message at firstname.lastname@example.org. There is no other address for comments you have left.
Best Regards, Kopejkin.

Works perfectly now Rated 5 out of 5 stars
FEBE stopped working completely in Firefox 45, but it works just fine in Firefox 45.0.2. It's an extremely helpful add-on. I just wish the developer would revive TEBE for Thurnderburd. This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Disabled, not compaatible for FF42 and FF43.0.1 Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Does not work on newly installed FF on Win10 PC. It is disabled and says that it is incompatible with FF42 and also FF43.0.1 (after update). Works perfectly on other FF installs on my other Win7 devices. Strange.
Use earlier version
FEBE v8.8.2 is for Fx 44 and above. For Fx 43 use FEBE v8.8.1

Change is coming Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this add-on. But I was unhappy with how slowly the current version of Firefox (44) seemed to be running. So I upgraded to the bleeding edge version 47 called "Nightly." Sadly, version 47, due to be released in June 2016 it seems, makes some major changes that break FEBE. For one example: http://blog.queze.net/post/2015/11/02/What-about-search-hijacking means the current version of FEBE can't restore search plug ins. Not a problem, I had too many anyway and just went to mycroft project (http://mycroftproject.com/ ) to restore necessary ones. Also, bookmarks won't restore properly through FEBE. But, the "bookmarks.json" and "bookmarks.html" files in the FEBE backup folder can still be used by Firefox47's standard menu Bookmarks/Show-All-Bookmarks then "Import and Backup" utility. I also took the opportunity to review my addons, some are no longer necessary due to new/easier functionality in Firefox. FEBE's "Results.html" made it easy to look through what I had before and choose what to keep or discard.
Anyway, the point is Thanks for a great add-on. But, heads up, change is coming. P.S. Firefox 47 is definitely faster.
Why not available for Firefox 42 ? ? ? Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Using FEBE 8.8.1 working fine. But what happened as to why future releases won't work with Firefox 42 ? ? Not everyone is happy with the changes being forced on us by Mozilla in the newest and not so greatest releases of Firefox ... Thanks
The question was more of: Why the addon home page does not show 8.8.2 as working with Firefox 42 ? Does it or does it not ? And if not, will it be corrected so it does ?
I have had a few users report that FEBE v8.8.2 is not working with Fx v44, but it seems to be working for the majority. If any problems are encountered, posting in the support forum will help me troubleshoot it.

Terrific Addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I have never had the negative experiences that others have had (hanging or whatever). I'm think it could be that some people are using the same profiles they've had since Firefox 1.0 and maybe everything would work better for them if they'd begin anew every now and then (which FEBE can help you do, by the way).
The only issue I have with FEBE is that it's a little bit heavy on system resources. Without it installed, my current profile uses about 350 or 360 MB of RAM with a single tab open. With FEBE installed and the same tab loaded, it uses 400 MB. That may not seem like a lot, but imagine if every addon used that much memory! Things would bog down pretty quickly.
Of course maybe it's not possible to do it any differently, so I won't dock a star for that. The solution is to disable FEBE until you want to backup, then re-enable it. Of course there are easier ways to backup a profile but they don't do it the same way FEBE does. I like the backups it creates.
Anyway it's well designed and easy to setup. I've personally never had it fail in the six months I've been using it. I didn't find the restore menu to be particularly intuitive, but the author has a website and with it I didn't have any trouble restoring a backup.
Great add-on! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
One of the most used add-on! Allow to create new and clear browser with all the prefs. Thanks to creator! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (8.8.1).

Отличный инструмент для резервного копирования данных FF Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Some issues with FF42, fix on the way? (I prefer not to try beta versions) Rated 2 out of 5 stars
If it werent' for the current problems with FF42, FEBE would probably rate 4 to 5 stars from me. I'm not paid to be a beta tester, but you are welcome to try the beta version of FEBE yourself.
A problem with FF42 (and probably caused by FF42, not FEBE) remains for me and some other users. FEBE stops (freezes completely and never completes) when attempting to do a selective backup; it generates a huge window (which grows each time) that is unresponsize, and an [Abort] button that doesn't work, requiring the famous 3-finger salute CTRL-ALT-DEL to kill it. The author does offer some possible fixes here and in the support forums, but woe be unto you if they don't work for you and your particular machine, and you report this here.
It's very interesting how my previous honest 1-star review has vanished from this page. It's almost as funny as how unprofessionally the developer responded to my simple, honest review... right before my review and his ranting reply vanished from this page.
And mine is not the only review that's vanished. Suffice it to say that this developer and the add-on review system can no longer be trusted to be honest. FEBE may or not currently be 4+ star extension (it was before FF41 or so), but you can't tell when honest reviews with reported issues are mysteriously removed.
I expect that this 2 star review will vanish within 48 hours. I've uninstalled the broken FEBE exension for now. Perhaps I'll try it again, in a trillion years, under a different developer. Kidding, you couldn't pay me to use FEBE again.
"The author does offer some possible fixes here and in the support forums, but woe be unto you if they don't work for you and your particular machine, and you report this here."
This is not the place to report bugs. When you leave a review for any add-on, the guidelines are clearly displayed on the right:
" Please do not post bug reports in reviews. We do not make your email address available to add-on developers and they may need to contact you to help resolve your issue.
See the support section to find out where to get assistance for this add-on. "
Bug reports are summarily removed from here. Once again, I will gladly help resolve any problems you are having with FEBE. But it must be done in the support forum.
