No Download Link Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I'm on FF 47.0 Developer Edition, and there is no link to download the XPI, so I cannot edit and install the add-on.

Part of the idea of running the Developer Edition is that one is able to judge for oneself how to tweak it. Choosing to ignore version restrictions is part of that, but this needs co-operation both from this download page, and from the browser itself. There should be an override option in the settings or add-on section, although the browser should probably still ask 'are you sure?'

Missing words Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Dear Devs: "guide's" comes up as absent, e.g. "on the tour our guide's bag was stolen". Also improv I believe, though I added it so I can't check. Is there a better mechanism to report missing words? Thanks.

Similar to Richard Pearse ... it doesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It (essentially) keeps reverting to English American so highlights spelling while writing blog entries and online essays/work.

Does NOT work, even with install.rdf corrected Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The dates in the directory are still in the moronic, counter-intuitive amerikan format.

The dates in the Organizer are still in this silly format.

Why does firefox even ship with such a stupid configuration? Only the 'merikans use the silly format.

Hey I've got an idea: date configuration! what an option that would be! so advanced.

Out of date again - Fixed! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This review was going to be about it not working yet agin with the latest version of firefox. It is not the developers fault, it gets updated so often it must be almost impossible to keep up with.

However, I have read toxi's article below and it actually works. The only slight difference I had was it says "save link as" rather than just "save as".

I know some people (especially in USA) will wonder why we need a GB language pack, but were entitled to have our own language with its different spellings just like anyone else. so I would like to thank both the developers and toxi.

FF Updates Rated 1 out of 5 stars

@Mr A Duncan
You are right. The issue is both you and a wider issue.
Every time a Firefox update is released, extensions need to be updated in order for them to work for that specific version of Firefox. This is meant to be the developers job, but the reality is developers are not paid not to work on extensions and other extensions have been abandoned by the developers. In order to fix it you need to:
a) Download the extension (right click on the "Add to Firefox" link, and then save as)
b) After that rename the extension as a .zip file (just change the .xpi to .zip),
c) Extract the zip file to a new folder
d) Open the folder
e) Edit the install.rdf file (open it in notepad)
f) Search for "<em:maxVersion>" and update the value to the right of this to the updated version of Firefox. To be safe do this with every instance of "<em:maxVersion>" you find in the file
g) Save and close the file
h) Make a new .zip file with everything in the new folder you extracted the .zip file to (.xpi is really just a zip file)
i) Rename the extension of the .zip file to .xpi
j) Install the extension in Firefox (You can do this via drag and drop)
That's it. Most extensions that do not work when Firefox is updated will work if you follow these instructions to the letter, but just be aware sometimes there are compatibility issues.
Good luck!

This pack worked well until Firefox 39.0 update was installed. Now it won't download or install. Is this just me or is it a wider issue?
