There is a little problem Rated 4 out of 5 stars
After I close FF 48.0 downloads window stays openedThis user has a previous review of this add-on.
Intended, by design
This is a key use case of this extension and one of the reasons I created it to begin with. WONTFIX.
If you want to quit FF, there's a "quit" menu command/keyboard shortcut/etc. "Close" does just what it sounds like. It does not necessarily quit FF.
Works perfectly! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

RightClick-"Copy download link" grayed in 0.6.0 :( Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Fantastic addon but for some reason (I can't believe this is not noticed, maybe it's because of my locale setting) in latest 0.6 version I can't right click on download in progress and select "Copy download link" anymore...!? CTRL+C is working fine, but that right click menu is grayed out :( Can you please look into that, thanks you in advance,
P.S. Can you please put icon.png in root of your addon .XPI...? Almost every extension have it's own icon when looking at Add-ons in Firefox, only Download Windows has default green puzzle :(
Both issues addressed for next AMO release
https://bitbucket.org/ungram/downloads_window/downloads has a build from today which should address both issues.
Doesn't really work in Fx48.0a2 (Developer) Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Dear Ungram, thank you for last version: in Fx47.0 (beta) it works correctly, but in 48.0a2 (Developer) its something awful, even if e10s is disabled: http://storage1.static.itmages.ru/i/16/0525/h_1464187302_4019864_5bfdf730bf.jpg
Though, in principle, it works, but window stays opened after the download finish. Please, if its possible, adapt the extension for the browser versions higher than 47.0.
Fixed window closing issue
https://bitbucket.org/ungram/downloads_window/downloads/downloads_window_2016-05-25.xpi via https://bitbucket.org/ungram/downloads_window/commits/ce9aca4651c35db0ed5059292feeeb8d898cd783
I can also see the graphical button display issue your screenshot depicts, but at least with the fix above, the add-on is vaguely functional in FF48. I encourage you to report bugs using https://bitbucket.org/ungram/downloads_window/issues?status=new&status=open as well -- AMO isn't ideal for this.

Does not work in version 47 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
After updating to 47 beta, it no longer shows downloads. Instead, only a white background is shown in the area where downloads are supposed to be.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.5).
Fixed for FF47.
Works great as expected any update for e10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Works great for the official channel. Was wondering if there is an upcoming update for e10? Or are you waiting for things to finalize for committing? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.5). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
It also works in the beta channel, just not, without disabling e10s, the dev channel.
I'm going to try avoiding creating an e10s XUL version when XUL's disappearing, or becoming unsupported, perhaps within a year or two also.
Thus, I'm going to target WebExtensions. This add-on uses mostly the downloads and history APIs. Until a couple of weeks ago, the downloads APIs were blatantly inadequately implemented, and the history APIs still are. I'm watching both tracking bugs (downloads and history), so I can follow this as it happens.
My plan is to initially wait for the next FF release/channel rotation/etc, and at that point re-assess how the APIs look.
bringt das alte DL fenster zurück, aber verbesserungsfähig Rated 4 out of 5 stars
verpfuschten Feuerfuchs wieder nutzbar machen. An der Stelle einen großen Dank!
Thank you for your review.
The font size isn't really set in absolute terms, but rather it derives from being one CSS font size larger than "font-size: small;". It's actually 16px on my system, which does seem excessive. After removing that size increase vs background default, it's now 13px here.
As far as (trusting Google Translate) repeatedly incorrect icons, if you look in e.g., the library window (which one can access via e.g., Show All Bookmarks -> "Downloads", if the incorrect icons also show up there, that's an underlying FF issue.
I don't understand the Google Translate translation "closed DLs the wrong file name in the list" enough to comment.
Further follow-ups would be most productive if you filed bugs at https://bitbucket.org/ungram/downloads_window/issues/

Great Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great add-on I've been using it for a long time now and it's great.
I noticed that on firefox 44 the alert for the downloads completed shows a huge icon. Could you look into that? Thanks for your time and for developing this add-on.
Brilliant! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
You have created a brilliant addon. I hated firefox after firefox 24 because they removed the download window. Now you got it back, it's amazing. Keep up the great work! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.5).
Very Nice! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Very Nice, simple, and effective, cheers!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.5).
Update request.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
That would be nice if you could add this In the library window:
when i search the history for specific urls in a specific date to copy, there are two columns:
unfortunately, if i select all the found lines & right click to copy..
the copy function only copies the urls ...
i'd like two new submenu functions ...
replace Copy by:
& the last one:
Copy Title & Location
(any submenu option from above can copy selected "multiple lines..")

Absolutely brilliant extension. I was tired of accidentally stopping the downloads when closing Chrome. Then I changed to Firefox but, despite the fact that it had a separate downloads window, that side-panel is hideous. So this "product" right here is exactly what I needed and it has a few other features as well, and all work flawlessly for me.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.5).
Very good Rated 5 out of 5 stars

thank you Rated 4 out of 5 stars
hmmm, the first time i installed it there was no "Options" visible, therefore i did not see a way to set any preferences. installed a second time did the trick, thank you for the reply i would have given up on this had you not responded. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.3.1-signed).
According to my understanding of what that extension does/did, the "Clean button always closes" preference accomplishes this. If this isn't so, please explain what you're looking for at https://bitbucket.org/ungram/downloads_window/issues
Works great - thank you - but can we do something about the font?? Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Just downloaded after "upgrading" from 24. to 35.
Window popped right up - thank you very much.
And the font *is* really really too big - wonder if you would consider changing that?
Such a relief! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
What a relief to find that I can still have a real downloads window in Firefox!
One little niggle though: the font is awfully big. Is there a way to choose a smaller one?
