This addon is pretty good, but also very annoying. The portion that it adds to the contextual menu is very useful. However, this annoying blue box will follow you around everywhere.

There used to be a way to disable it, but not anymore. In fact, it's been a long road to the point of just disabling this addon. I refuse to be harassed by this annoying blue box anymore.

I really want the contextual menu that it provides, but constantly searching for a way to disable this stalker-box, only to have it re-enabled, has caused me to lose my sanity.

I've spent months cowering in the corner of the room, rocking back and forth, screaming at this blue box floating around the screen. Why won't you just go away! Leave me Alone!

I'm not using any of the accelerator stuff, however thanks to its customizability, it's absolutely the best option if you're looking for a simple tool to search text with different engines

Not very useful Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The idea is great, but 1. it doesn't support Unicode (I guess?), which means that googling via Cleeki for - say - "małżeństwa", redirects me to a Google search for "ma³¿eñstwa". Not being able to properly handle foreign language characters looks pretty lame, given that it's 2012 already. 2. Adding new, custom channels (other than predefined ones; Bing, for example) is unintuitive and requires some "reverse engineering", as the configuration dialog doesn't bother to describe the meaning of the placeholders (such as [kw] or [cs]) one is expected to include in urls.

does not work on Firefox 9

Good, but needs improvement Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good approach, similar to Chrome´s extension "Universal Search & IE8 Accelerators" (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hmcgifbelcmjecmkapejifljephjabjd)

But it´s conflicting with Google Dictionary and Google Translate (https://addons.mozilla.org/pt-BR/firefox/addon/google-dictionary-and-google-t/) as its popup mini windows are overlapping!

We can move the position of Cleeki pop-up windows, but the move is not persistent.

I would like to see a an option to choose the position (N, S, SW etc.) of the Cleeki´s popup window.

Très utile pour la recherche

It needs to be fixed, the IE8 accelerator import does not work anymore. When you go to the accelerators web page, the accelerator cannot be imported and you are invited to download IE8. MS may have changed something to stop the import feature.Anyway is a great add-on and I love it, just need to be updated.

首先,Cleeki是一款优秀的插件,帮助到了很多人,谢谢!
但是在使用过程中有以下两点,如下:
1、在“配置-频道”中,是否可以考虑加入排序功能(Up&Down,虽然左导右导也可以实现,但实在麻烦);
2、仍然是在“配置-频道”中,图标链接地址是否改为搜索链接官网的favicon更佳?一则减少贵站流量(预览、搜索网址中仍可用Cleeki进行统计),二则加快图标出现速度;

Ps.http://www.cleeki.com/cn/feedback.html 有“不能连接数据库服务器”错误!

I never looked at this add-on because the description is misleading, in my opinion anyway. I don't like IE and think "Accelerators" are lame. This add-on however, is not lame. I love it and it has replaced the buggy, uncooperative, and relatively featureless Cool Previews. I wish the description was better so I would have come to this page and added this to my Firefox arsenal much sooner.

So far it's working great and I highly recommend it.

Great utility! Hardly any bog-down...

Nice, but there seems to be a problem: it takes forever to load, it's icons are glitched, and it seems to be missing the close button...

Very good with one smalle glitch Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Thanks, this is really a very nice extension and I'm pleased you even have one for IE (the wife uses it mostly).

One small counter-intuitive issue - and a difference to your IE plugin - is that Ctrl is pre-selected at the preview tab, and it is by no means clear what the Ctrl does. I thought it means you could force the preview eye to appear if you didn't want to wait for the ms specified. For a moment there I thought it simply didn't work because the IE plugin just immediately worked without having to *know* that Ctrl had to be pressed also.

Anyway, sorry for the long description of this issue. It should take away the fact that this is a VERY neat little thing :)

可是为什么最近用不了了?网站上不去了。
不会是欠费了吧?

Nice idea, unfortunately it only copies the first line of selected text; most of the time. I need it to be reliable, copying all selected text every time.

Hi.

Nice add-on but too much buttons, too complicated. That's why I love Coolpreview, its very intuitive. I love the basic concept of Cleeki but maybe he need to find hes own path.

Could this be used in essentially the same way as the I.E "Define With..." accelerators, in which I could highlight a word on the page & then choose a dictionary- or, even better, thesaurus- channel (ie accelerator) to then see the definitions in the preview window without having to leave the page at all for a dif. tab or window? For ex: the "Search w/ Bing/Google" accelerators which preview word Bing/Google definitions within the little pop-up.

Because that is really the point of the accelerators- to acquire small bits of info- definitions, conversions, maps, etc- about selected text, without having to leave your page- you can even perform entire searches within the little pop-up without ever going to new tab- which is my suggestion to make this more useful:

It would be nice to be able to continue clicking links within the little pop-up without it closing & sending you to a new page/tab/window- (a la I.E Accelerators) and if/when you want to leave it, there is a link at the bottom that you can click to "Open in a New Tab".
Otherwise, you're really just avoiding the inevitable- you can either just open a new tab & do a search, or do a search with Cleeki, preview results in small pop-up, only to open a new tab anyway once you click the results(?)
