There is a problem with the updated files (both). The size is about 40 Kb, the size of the original file was about 100 Ko. More: after renaming the .xpi into .zip, the original file may be decompressed, but the 2 new files may not. I suspect there was a problem building the files and they are corrupted. Sorry, but I miss Cards...

If vou´re saved the folder "cards@dav.mozdev.org" before installing FF 3.5 there is a simple trick to run cards. Open the file "install.rdf" with the windows-editor, change NS1:maxVersion="3.0.*" in NS1:maxVersion="3.5.*". Then save it and copy the folder into the extensions-folder of FF 3.5. Start FF and be happy!

Sorry, Quarantine, I'm not able to update Cards either getting a message saying it's not a valid installation package. I tried both update versions since I wasn't sure which one is for Windows and tried via file open menu as well a install add-on. I'm missing Cards! =)

Firefox 3.5 updated version.
This is the second updated version of this add-on for Firefox 3.5 that I have posted. One person reported they could not install the first one on a Mac. I have re-written the installation files for this version but do not have a Mac to test it on. It is available from http://cid-003ca526d1157201.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Firefox/cards-0.98-updated.xpi
You need to download the file, and then in Firefox use "File > Open File" and open the file you downloaded to install it.

I join the chorus in beseeching Mr. Clavering to update CARDS for 3.5. I would even be willing to pay a small stipend if that would help.

Firefox 3.5 version Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I hope Stephen Clavering does an official update. I have updated a copy of this add-on allowing it to be installed in Firefox 3.5. I also included a couple of bug fixes for the add-on that were detailed in the bugzilla bug reports. You can download this version from http://urlm.in/ctjo (I have used shrink link to avoid posting a long link)
To install it first download the file (cards-0.98-fx-updated.xpi), then in Firefox use "File>Open File" and open the file.

Where have all the cards gone? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Where have all the card games gone? Why don't they work on 3.5? Freecell works better than the Microsoft version & I have never seen Russian Solitaire anywhere else (my favorite). Please make them available again.

I'm bored Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've got so much spare time now it's not funny.

Please can we have a 3.5 compatible version?

Cool, although really time consuming ;-) I'd love to see this one for FF3.5, too.

FF 3.5? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this add-on. Can it be made compatible with 3.5? I disabled version checking and it's running fine so it may just be something internal that checks for the version number, but it would be nice to have it fully compatible.

Adding to my previous review. If you want to place this on button, what I meant is that I made a bookmark and put it in the bookmark toolbar. I used this in the location: chrome://cards/content/cards.xul
