Thank you

Refresh the page - it is started
This only occurs at start

chrome://bookrect/content/index.html
the empty window with settings "Bookmark Tab" opens

hi serzh,

thank you for your message, your feedback is highly appreciated. i am having trouble reproducing this error though, have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the addon?

thanks again - coderect

edit: since you provided more information by know, i might know what the problem is. when firefox is started, it does apparently not immediately allowed extensions to add custom urls. you can therefore try and use this one instead: chrome://bookrect/content/index.html

Bookmark Tab Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I forgot to add in my last review that this developer's utility, in say, just a year's worth of work in Firefox, saves me a significant amount of time. This young man's original hard work certainly warrants at a minimum a small donation and I was happy to make a nice donation myself which I think was his first ever. It was a small price to pay for the time he has saved me and well worth it!

hi there,

once again thank you so much for your support!

Very nice! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been looking to replace https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/bookmarks-tab/ for a while. This is just what I want.

If anyone else dislikes the folder icon, you can css it away.
img[src='chrome://BookRect/content/assets/images/treeFolder.png'] {
background: url('http://files.softicons.com/download/internet-cons/hamburg-icons-by-pc.de/png/16/folder.png') no-repeat;
display: block;
-moz-box-sizing: border-box;
box-sizing: border-box;
width: 16px; /* Width of new image */
height: 16px; /* Height of new image */
padding-left: 16px; /* Equal to width of new image */
top: -3px;
position: relative;
}
Just change the background url to a 16x16 image you like better.

CodeRect, I saw a github repo for this? Are you accepting pull requests or were you planning on keeping this a solo effort?

hi valadil,

Preverse state of opened folders Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful add-on, but preserving state of opened folders doesn't work on Linux Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, Firefox 35.0. All folders are closed every time new tab opened. On Windows 7 it works correctly. Please, fix it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.2.1.1-signed).

hey oleg,

thank you very much for your review - i highly appreciate any feedback.

i am currently working on a complete makeover of the addon and preserving states might not find their way into this new version, due to performance reasons. if so however, i will make sure that they work on linux and windows.

you can by the way view the progress on github - https://github.com/CodeRect/bookmark-tab

stay tuned and thanks again - coderect

Good work! Seregab, to make 2 columns you can add line "-moz-column-count: 2;" to body stylesheet

English:
I like it. It's simple, clean and fast but on the other hand, uses a high percentage of resources (compared to others extensions that I have installed) and the search engine does not work with tags.
I hope you have thought something in mind to solve these two problems because I really like the extension. Thank you.

Spanish:
Me gusta.
Gracias.

hi orange,

Great for few bookmarks, lacking for big collections Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If you only have a few bookmarks, it is a really nice addon (I will not repeat the testimonials - agreed with most of them). On the other hand, I have 15000 in 1000 folders, and a new tab with this addon can load for 4 to 10 seconds.

Folder search (not doable natively) is a big plus for large bookmark collections. In my case, however, search speed is also a little lacking.

One feature that I really miss is linking to individual bookmark folders. It seems to be pretty rare in "bookmark-new-tab" extensions. If folders had individual local addresses, you could:
1) bookmark them for cross-linking between folders;
2) load them in the sidebar as menus (native Firefox function for bookmarks);
*) all sorts of other things: toolbar placement, virtual folders / junction points, tiles... You could also tune the new tab to show this or that specific folder, not the whole tree, leaving that for the toolbar button.

Except for search, all of that is already possible with a much less popular addon with an almost identical title:

hi ptaho,

thank you very much for your message, i highly appreciate your feedback. while i still not found the time to work on the features that you have suggested, the newest version of the addon includes should at least be significantly more efficient.

Great with one request Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Hi, how can I open all the pages inside a folder at once like "Open all in tabs"?
Or this feature is not yet supported?

Thanks

Grossartig, vielen Dank...

This is so useful and simple. It would be even better if it has some themes to choose rather than having the users to tweak the css by themselves
