Shows CPU hogging Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This looks like a nice effort towards something quite useful, like an auto-sorted bookmark toolbar. But enabling auto-sort starts constantly hogging CPU on my profile. I have 5000 bookmarks total, separate in year folders. Disabling recursion etc didn't help. Disable plugin == firefox CPU usage drops to <1% immediately.

You are the man: v2.8 is a milestone, a real burner

Could be fantastic...but Rated 1 out of 5 stars

unfortunately is not.
antoyo really needs to listen to other user comments. Please. The most important feature, and the lack of it is really an amazing oversight, is the possibility to "sort out the folders in a different way"...or at least to ignore them when sorting. In the latter case you would sort everything out with your chosen criteria (including folders) and then re-sort the bookmarks only with different criteria while ignoring folders. It has to be understood that users want to be able to have the folders sorted in a different way than the bookmarks they contain. Classically, folders are sorted alphabetically and bookmarks by dates. What a pity!!! It would be a full five stars if the option of "sort out the folders in a different way" is added...

5 stars if "apply different sorting method for folders" option is added :)
i treat folders as more general categories which i would like to have sorted alphabetically while all of the bookmarks inside them by "date added".

Nützliches Add-On Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Funktionierte eine Weile nicht. Das liegt aber soweit mir bekannt daran, dass die Firefox-Entwickler sehr oft den Code radikal umschreiben. Hoch und Dank den Entwicklern die das auf Dauer mitmachen. THANK YOU & BEST WISHES!

FF 33 : Does NOT work

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1-signed).

It should now work with version 2.4.

Great add-on but, unfortunately, no longer works with Pale Moon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this add-on and for years have wished this functionality to be incorporated by default into Firefox. However, now that I've updated to Pale Moon version 25 it no longer works.

Can an update be made to make this continue to work with Pale Moon?

Does not work as described, nor doe it indicate it's mode via submenu Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Sorts by URL? HAHAHA ~ no it doesn't. Stuff ends up in even worse order than B 4, with 4 instance various 'craigslist' stuff in several different areas instead of together. Tried 'by name' sorting & that doesn't work right either = useless buggy garbage. Uninstalled this mess!

Simply a brilliant add-on. Just install and forget the whole thing, as it requires zero maintenance.

Set it and forget it. Orders bookmarks only when Firefox starts but that is fine. I use v2.3 since a month without a glitch on Firefox (Iceweasel) 24.6.0 on Debian 7. Thank you, antoyo, for publishing this under the GNU license.

Broke in the 30th version (поломался в 30-ой версии) Rated 2 out of 5 stars

In the 30 FF changed the sort order!
Should be so: digits --> English --> at the end of the Cyrillic
Became so: digits --> Cyrillic --> then English.
Check this please.

В 30-ом FF поменялся порядок сортировки!
Должно быть так: цифры --> английский --> в конце кириллица
Стало так: цифры --> кириллица --> затем английский.

This seems to be fixed in the latest versions of Firefox.

Great addon. Almost perfect. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This add-on is critical with helping me migrate away from Opera. However, it would be nice, if the sort by URL option allowed for the sort to focus on the Domain Name and ignore the TLD and/or the information below the Domain Name. So if i sorted by URL (Domain) or whatever first then by page name, it would sort all Wikipedia entries nicely without getting mixed up by the fact some of the wikipedia articles start with https vs http. The same goes for Amazon pages, and many others.
