Just as info:
After changing min-version in install.rdf the new version (0.5.2) works fine in up-to-date Firefox 17.0.3 ESR.
Thanks for the work.
version 0.9.1 works just fine under Firefox 15, (now Aurora) but in
FX 16 due to the Australis theme (see bug 732583 in bmo) the Menu entries as well as the functionality on the TabGroup Button is missing. A update would be nice.
There seems to be a change in how restartless Add-ons are called / started since 2012-03-20. Before (Mar.19) it worked as advertised, but since then it's not starting any more. bootstrap.js is loaded, compartment is created, but then, nada.
Seems to be a jetpack issue. Aurora (Fx13) and Beta (Fx12) is fine.
Makes multilingual use of Firefox so much easier.
This is just one of the point-cases where (we) the users just shake our heads.
There should have been and option to switch styles and everything woud be OK, but no! They (the involved dev.people) didn't even look at "about:logo" !
Thanks for your work.
It stopped working in Nightly 11.0a1 after 2011-Dec-09 with an entry in errorlog:
v.count not defined, Location: jar:[addon-id]/bootstrap.js, Line 101.
Wow! Thanks for the new features in 2.0. Thanks for making sure it works on Nightly (and Aurora, and Beta), too.
This is one of the add-ons I would really miss, if it wouldn't work.
Works fine on Aurora (10.0a2) and Nightly (11.0a1).
Kudos for getting this Add-on to work beyond Fx 4.
for a better way to get the link the mouse is over.
Thanks! As much as I like tha 'new' interface of FX4 (and further nightlies aka 4.2alpha), there is something missing:
You can't easily change some things. Here come the "Firefox 4 UI Fixer" quite handily: without mucking around in userChrome.css / userChrome.js or modifying a theme. it enables a user to adapt FX to his/her likes.
An Idea to think about would be to enable the user to change the background color of the FX-Menu-Button.
Anyway, thanks a lot.
on Fx 3.6 it's simply great. on the Fx 4 betas not so.
The trouble with Fx 4 beta is mostly the NOT stable base. It changes from bata to beta, from nightly to nightly, it's NOT funny atm. As soon as Fx 4 goes to release-candidate comes the time to get to work on Fx 4 compatible versions.
Thanks for the work.
works on FX4.0b9pre / linux 64bit... mostly:in the Addon-manager (about:addons) the right column, where the interesting data is, is too wide, making the window wider doesn't help me, beyond 1650px works. Zooming with [Ctrl]+[-] also gives me back the right edge, but then it's to small to read. Nether the less, I'll give you five of five for years of hassle-free browsing even on small screens. Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.67).
Version 0.4 is announced, shown on here AMO, but it's not on the DL-Server.
I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks for the good work so far.
It's back! It makes some sh..t much easier.
Google, Yahoo, Forums, other web-apps, esp. those in development have sometimes the need to be modified in their forms, and greasemonkey is while good, not the answer for everything.
Just one question remains: why is this not a built-in?
Thanks for this. Just like your Locationbar² for this implements a missing feature.
After some trouble with other session-managements this is the one I really like.
It works. And it works fine. Rich in Options when one need them and no hassle in daily use. Just as I like things. Especially nice are the import options. Thanks for the excellent work.
no trouble with Version 1.4.3 on FX3.5; it just works as announced ;)
Thanks for updating more than just the em:maxVersion.
This Addon makes switching on/offline just so much more comfortable than the menu entry.
There's not even a built-in short-cut/key-combo in the menu for it, would it be possible for you to add one in your next update (also raising maxVersion to 3.6, at last in the devel-versions it works) ?
Thanks, and thanks again. This is one of the "never want to be without" - Addons. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0).
Thanks for the work on ver.1.3.5, it works great, and even my father(pensioner) likes the readability / unmistakably on his old PC.
Now I'm off, testing the 1.3.6 ...
