Forecastfox (fix version)

Beta Fix for FF47 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Have Forecastfox placed in the tab row. It stopped showing the radar and other tooltips after Firefox updated to 47. Although the weather would update. After posting a message in the forums, Oleksandr had a fix posted in less than 24 hours! Awesome! This is one of my MUST HAVE addons. I would encourage people that use this addon to please support Oleksandr and make a donation.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.3).

Past modern revisited, reloaded

nice but buggy Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Like the overall look. But some major issues:
1/ The top toolbar doesn't resize the icons to the right of the address window so they extend under the standard window minimize/maximize/close buttons.
2/ The toolbars overall are a mess. Forecastfox has somehow been booted down to the same level as the tabs
3/ I can't grab the window frame on the corners to move the application around the desktop. I can only resize the sides.

Greasemonkey script Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for the reply. The script doesn't seem to be modifying the CL pages at all for me, so I'm not seeing the "clpics" in the upper right hand corner. And the drop down menu for Greasemonkey, it has "No installed scripts run on this page" greyed out.

Import settings into script Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks much for the final update on the extension. However, the Greasemonkey script isn't working for me. Once I disabled the extension and only had Greasemonkey running, there are no image previews. One question: I can export the options from the extension. But it's not obvious to me where to copy them into the userscript. I see this section of code, but don't think it's the correct area. Any guidance or screenshots would be appreciated.

Metal

Poor color scheme Rated 1 out of 5 stars

The construction sign yellow color against the grey background elements is hideous.

Thanks for the update Rated 5 out of 5 stars

CL changed how you reply to ads that partially broke CL Pics. Thanks for the quick update, was less than a week!

Excellent CL image thumbnails Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for the new update! This addon cleanly displays thumbnails for CL making it MUCH easier to browse. The addon isn't overly complicated and has quickly become one of my fav. Thanks Andrew!

Disable Add-on Compatibility Checks

FF 14.0.1 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Still working for me in FF14. In fact, it saved my fav theme from being disabled.

Silvermel

Won't uninstall Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Use to like the theme, now it just looks dated. The worse part is, even after uninstalling, it remains listed as a theme choice except there is no remove button.

FT GraphiteGlow

darker gray Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent theme. And thanks for reverting to the darker gray in the last update!

Toolbar Buttons

Great set! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

These are a easy way to keep the slim style of FF4, but get easy access to things like File and View menus.Wish there was a "recently closed tabs" button...

Regain cell transparency in FF4 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This worked for me. If you still have older version of FF installed: Start it up, make the changes you want. Then restart FF4. Cells regained their transparency for me. YMMV.

MacOSX Theme (Firefox 4+)

Devil's in the details Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Overall great look. The transparent frame covers the sides and bottom but doesn't cross the top. Where it stops looks ragged with the thin interior and exterior borders exceeding the center transparency of the frame. For "hanayuki" make sure you don't have the menu bar set to show. If you do, the theme reverts to the usually window buttons, or at least it does on mine.

MacOSX Theme (Firefox 4+)

Devils in the details Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Overall, like the theme. However, the transparent frame that runs around the bottom and sides, abruptly stops at the top. There's a little "dip" in the transparent frame at the top which gives the theme a slightly "unpolished" look. For "hanayuki"

MacOSX Theme

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This is one of my fav themes. However, ever since FF 3.5 when you double click to highlight all the text in the address bar only the font of the text gets highlighted, the background remains the same color and doesn't change like it should to indicate all the text has been selected.
